That’s an interesting idea.  In the final analysis, water is the most valuable resource; life and death.  They have a(n) (underground) sea of oil; we have lots of fresh water.  When it really counts, even trade seems like a good deal.

Saudi de Desalination Plants

Why are we so Stupid ? Fresh water is more valuable that oil when you need a drink  isnt it ?  Those are our terms take it or leave it ..Why do our Politicians and negotiators always sell us out so cheap !

So they Killed 500 Saudi s,They captured 2000 Saudi Soldiers

What is true is that ever since the 1st Gulf war, going long Oil, on an ME blow up has been wrong, same with PM’s….the scum have made sure of that….today is no different, as Oil shud have rallied with the SM..never mind what happened in Saudi, it has rallied with every other SM recovery rally recently……instead it fell apart….tks to the scum.

Oh yes if u want to see what a total joke these mkts can be. look at tdys last 15 mins of the SM, after 3 pm…the S&P ran 7 full pts straight up, so tomorrow no doubt we will gap open…for no reason….

I agree…..why would ZH print it, if it ain’t true…sure they have to maybe skim some checks, to be so quick, but ….

This was one of the posts on ZH

“As I have commented before, I worked in KSA for a year and witnessed first hand the incompetence of the Saudi. I also had the opportunity to meet a few Yemeni who were quite intelligent and entrepreneurial. During my stay in a small town north of Jeddah I witnessed several rocket attacks that were not reported in the local censored media. During my final days in kingdom I experienced the upheaval and chaos from the blockade of Qatar and watched Saudi forces mobilized and dispatched down the western coastal highway.

I am not surprised at this encirclement if accurate. The Saudi “army” consists of Sudanese mercenaries commanded by Pakistani officers.

This war is about to end and not in the Saudi favor.”

So the Saudi’s cannot protect themselves, ain’t news to some…but loseing all it’s production and having Iran run it, is huge news..this is utterly bizarre.

the biggest winner today, funny how that works..

Yes thats true, but Politicians are supposed to represent the Public Interest, yet Democrats will decry this outrage while taking campaign money from them and do nothing .Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders’ stance against the practice has placed big pharma under tremendous scrutiny,to see how much money they can get out of them…

Big Pharma CEO: ‘We’re in Business of Shareholder Profit, Not Helping The Sick’

Last July, Turing Pharmaceuticals’ CEO Martin Shkreli became a lightning rod for growing outrage over soaring prescription drug prices after he raised the price of a newly-acquired drug from $13.50 to $750. But Shkreli, who earned the title ‘the most hated man in America,’ is not the only one acquiring drugs currently on the market to raise their price and, in turn, rapidly drive up their stock price.

J. Michael Pearson, the CEO of Valeant Pharmaceuticals has enraged the internet after saying in a recent interview with MSNBC that “his company’s responsibility is to its shareholders, not the customers who rely on his drugs to live.”

“My primary responsibility is to Valeant shareholders. We can do anything we want to do. We will continue to make acquisitions, we will continue to move forward,” Pearson said.

He added: “If products are sort of mispriced and there’s an opportunity, we will act appropriately in terms of doing what I assume our shareholders would like us to do.”

Already this year, according to several media outlets, Valeant has increased the price of 56 of the drugs in its portfolio an average of 66 percent, highlighted by their recent acquisition, Zegerid, which they promptly raised 550 percent. Not only does this have the unfortunate side effect of placing the price of life-saving drugs out of reach for even moderately-insured people, but it has now begun to call into question the sustainability of this rapidly-spreading business model.

Valeant has acquired more than 100 drugs and seen their stock price rise more than 1,000 percent since Pearson was named CEO in 2008. Pearson started working with Valeant Pharmaceuticals as an outside consultant in 2007, took over as CEO the next year.

Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders’ stance against the practice has placed big pharma under tremendous scrutiny.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is planning to issue a subpoena for information on recent price increases from both Pearson and Shkreli.

Houthi rebels in Yemen say they have killed 500 Saudi soldiers, captured a further 2,000 and seized a convoy of Saudi military vehicles.

The extraordinary claims at a press conference on Sunday, involving still photographs and inconclusive videos of captured soldiers, many not in uniform, could not be corroborated, and there was no independent confirmation from Saudi Arabia.

This is a. huge deal if true–it’s being blacked out on conventional TV and internet sites–that’s why I’m buying back into GUSH-just in case.

Three Saudi Brigades Reportedly Annihilated In Devastating Houthi Offensive In Saudi Arabia–[below are links to  the only 3 odd-ball sources reporting this]

Authored by Federico Pieraccini via The Strategic CUlture Foundation,
Many may have hitherto been led to believe that the Houthis were a ragtag armed force lacking in sophistication. Many, seeing the drone and missile attacks on Saudi oil plants, may have declared it to be a false-flag attack carried out by Riyadh to boost Aramco’s market value; either that or it was an operation carried out by Iran or even Israel.

Idea To Stop Killers Of Innocent People

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:04 on September 30, 2019

Newsday lately, and today more than ever, more stupid stories for more controls for innocent gun owners. Now they are relating gun ownership to a “health care crisis”. Decades ago I read that in many cases TPTB (communists) don’t really care about victims of crime. Because it promotes more controls on society. Plus, more jobs or employees for investigation, enforcement, courts, jails, etc etc etc.

My idea?? Let it be widely known on the gov’t media,

“”Anyone contemplating or planning a killing innocent people, are entitled to a tax free payment of $XX,XXX after an interview”” of course. Who cares what the cost would be?

All good things have a price. If we want to stop the killings, we have to pay for it. PAY, with money and or loss of jobs. We would get their identity, address and register and them. It will probably happen in the future. Just like so many other ideas I had decades ago that came about later.

For example back in the late sixties when I started vanin,  I promoted parkway police or state troopers to use SUVs. Came decades later, Also could not under stand why right turn on red was not permitted in the early 1960s. Came in the late ’70s. In fact at  2:am in the morning, you should be able to go left right or straight if no one in site.

Like when we have a power outage. Red should only mean yield. That will come later also. I also predicted in the 1970s future deflation in labor values, and loss of manufacturing. In 2001 I knew gold at $250/oz was STUPID. I have many other ideas to help Trump but I’m not involved.

Looks like the poll question $1470 or $1570 will soon be answered

Credit. Bubble Bulletin=in a world of heightened financial, economic and geopolitically instability – there is a scenario where the unraveling begins

Posted by Richard640 @ 19:16 on September 29, 2019

Chinese company listed ADRs were slammed in Friday U.S. trading. This creates Monday morning Chinese market and currency vulnerability. To this point, it’s been the Teflon President affixed to Teflon markets. But between “repo” market instability, Washington chaos, the risk of serious trade war escalation –

in a world of heightened financial, economic and geopolitically instability – there is a scenario where the unraveling begins

Markets have to this point demonstrated astounding faith that the President will ultimately act in their best interest. As always, markets are a contest of greed and fear. One of the bad scenarios would be the markets fearing an administration resorting to a “scorched earth” gambit.
