R6 – yeah
Gold and silver are coming back in. Still a lot of pressure on the metals.
SM coming back in too, but not that much. We’ll see what happens in London.
Crazy times we live in these days.

That Greek stuff is a really good deal!
The insanity of negative yield. Greek. debt=just another super bullish factor for gold
#Greece just joined the negative yield club. Today’s €487ml 3-month T-bills issuance got a -0.02% yield.

Finally regarding gold, we note firstly that gold made it through Friday but stumbled rather badly on Monday. However, it regained its footing yesterday with spot gold trading pleasantly and technically importantly above $1505. It shall require a movement upward through and a close above $1520 to truly put the gold bears on the defensive and to raise the confidence level of gold bulls such as we to the point where even our last and highest prices paid are insulated from random market noise.
…regarding our gold position, following the PMI “news” early last week we bought a bit more gold. The monetary authorities of the industrialized world really haven’t any choice but to continue to err in favor of monetary expansion, all things being otherwise equal, and thus unless the very rules of monetary policy have been wholly rescinded that shall be bullish of gold. Mr. Powell’s comments yesterday only serve to underscore that notion.
Buygold–WOW! I. had no idea…But. I was shocked when. I just checked. crude &. saw. it. dropped 1.34 from its evening. high

As other newswire reported earlier, during the discussions on Monday and Tuesday in Washington, the Chinese refused to talk about forced technology transfers, one source said, which is a core US grievance regarding China’s economic policies.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the person said that talks had also skirted the issue of state subsidies, which the Trump administration says give Chinese companies an unfair advantage over international competitors.
“They have made no progress,” said another source familiar with the talks, adding that the Chinese side had not made headway in persuading US negotiators to consider a freeze on tariff increases, a main priority for Beijing.
AOC
Definitely needs deep state approval. Good chance she gets defeated in 2020 IMHO.
Appears the overnight good China news turns out is not so good today at the close.
Hopefully pm’s and shares wake up tomorrow.
Buygold
I hear AOC has now reversed herself and says we SHOULD STAY in Syria. Gotta prove up those deep state credentials you know!
MSM
Listening to flaming homosexual and no doubt CIA Shepard Smith say on FOX that Trump has now abandoned the Kurds. Not really surprised by this, because “Shep” has always been anti Trump.
FOX is now confirmed as a complete Globalist comedy show. They have a few decent players left but most aren’t worth watching. Disgrace.
Wow – considering
the move up in rates, gold and silver are really holding up pretty well.
Shares, not so much.
I expect everything will change tomorrow. Doesn’t seem like any moves are sustainable anymore.
Ipso – yeah I know
I just don’t sort of know how we protect the Kurds at this point with the war already on without force unless we can somehow talk the Turks down.
No doubt the Kurds best bet is to unite with Assad under protection of the Russians.
Yep, next move should be out of Afghanistan.
Hi Buygold
Re Hitlery….yr right, she can’t help herself…..Maybe this is why the Donald has held off going after her, so she runs and he knows she will wipe out anyone in her way…..then if he wins again, then he can drop her in it.
Buygold
I didn’t hear anyone say the US should attack Turkey … although I guess Trump has threatened them economically if they slaughter too many Kurdish civilians.
Yep we are pushing the Kurds into an alliance with Assad. What else can they do.
“out of the quagmire” Absolutely! Now lets get out of Afghanistan!
Yeah Ipso
Couple of problems there. The U.S. can’t exactly mount a counter attack on Turkish forces anyway because they are a NATO ally. Albeit, not a very good one.
The Kurds would be better served making a deal with Assad and Russia and letting them deal with the Turks. I see the Turks have already joined the ruble exchange system anyway to circumvent SWIFT. Putin can deal with Erdogan.
Meaning we should get the hell out of that quagmire altogether.
Headlines today should read: “Stock market rallies on beginning of new war in Middle East as a flight to safety…”

Debka not exactly an unbiased news source. Gotta take their stuff with a giant grain of salt!
For now, there is no sign of the bulk of US forces quitting their air and other bases in Syria.
DEBKAfile sources refute the overblown reporting of a major US pullback from northeastern Syria and reveal that after 100-150 troops leave two observation posts, 2,250 remain in position. Our military sources disclose that, early Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Pentagon cut the Turkish army and air force off from US command and intelligence and the US regional Surveillance and Reconnaissance Task Force. Without these resources, Ankara cannot conduct any major aerial operation in Syria or elsewhere or launch an offensive operation outside Turkey because it would be denied air cover.
Initial reporting on the US decision to leave two observation posts and so abandon the Kurds to a Turkish invasion was highly exaggerated due to diverse – often competing – motives. Those two posts on the Turkish border are not located in Kurdish territory. For now, there is no sign of the bulk of US forces quitting their air and other bases in Syria. Neither are Turkish forces seen to be preparing to attack Kurdish towns in northern Syria. American training and its flow of equipment continue uninterrupted for the Syrian Defense Forces, of which the Kurdish YPG is the backbone. As an added deterrent, President Donald Trump warned Turkey on Monday night if it “goes too far” – meaning that if President Recep Erdogan carries out his repeated threats to attack the Syrian Kurds to clear them out of the regions abutting on the Turkish border – the Turks “would suffer the wrath of an extremely decimated economy” which is already in a very bad way.
Looks like we’re going to need the SM to rollover
Maybe Navarro will come out and piss in the China trade news Cheerios for the 15th time saying they don’t want a partial deal.
Rates are the only thing that matter to pm’s at the moment and they are working against us.

Gold up 7.60. and JUNG down .48. cent–“they” never give up…a young couple we know just put all their money into Karat Bars–ever heard of it?
I found this review online=
I would like to add my contribution to this matter by advising any one who is planning to join or start buying gold from Karatbars not to do so. PLEASE PLEASE DON’T!!!!!!
I was buying from them when I suddenly noticed that the our local jeweller was selling the same amount of gold for about £70 less in price , that is even with the storage , it was still so much more expensive. Also , when I was about to close my account, they only allowed me to request 9 grams of gold back, everything else behind the decimal point becomes theirs. I do not think this is fair, if they can adjust the amount of gold you can buy by the decimal point, they should be able to give you back everything, after you paid for it, without any hassle phoning or writing back and forth.
And then there is the membership card they encourage you to buy before you start to purchase gold, quite expensive and non refundable nonsense!

Trump running against Warren or Hillary is a dream matchup for him. Biden is toast, even if it were Biden, Trump would beat him too.
It appears to me the Demonrats have really stepped in a pile of steaming crap with this impeachment thing. I finally get the sense that Trump is making some serious head way against the deep state and their neocon cronies.
Attorney John Durham who’s investigating the 2016 election, Mueller, Hillary and the Obama DOJ and FBI is the guy to watch for. I’m surprised Hillary dares to poke her head out in public. I guess she can’t help herself. Don’t hear a peep from Obama or Comey anymore…
