Grain and cotton markets are showing some strength. There are still ample world supplies so I’m not looking for any runaway bull markets unless something really bad happens in South America.
The hog market is surprisingly weak considering pork prices in China are 5 times higher than US markets.

I simply stated that since most of those countries have been under siege for the last couple of decades, it’s probably been harder for them to use their creativity in the areas you described, medicine, computers etc. I said nothing about their responsibility regarding the wars.

Yes in this upside down world if the dollar declines rates will need to rise to bring in demand for it.
I’m not sure how this will end but at some point a collapsing dollar would need to be reflected properly in prices — especially those of hard assets, commodities, and tangibles.

Captain – seems like the USD has been a lot less important to pm’s than rates, especially the 10 year. Agree on the rig though, SM down, USD down, rates down a little. No way the rig allows gold and silver to be “go to” safe havens. Paper markets rule.

Trophy has been operational since 2011 and represents one of the most advanced designs currently in use. Today, it can be found on Israel’s Merkava tanks and Namer Infantry Fighting Vehicles. There are approximately 1,000 Trophy systems in active use by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Like the IDF, the U.S. Army has identified the APS as a key capability, launching the “Modular Active Protection Systems” program to develop a common, layered, and networked APS. However, as of last year, this U.S. program was not as mature as Trophy.
