A quick check of calendar events for the week shows today was the cartel’s mandatory pre-inoculation for the metals. After all, how could it be any different than the past 20 years? In light of the potentially huge bullish reports coming out this week today’s hit on the Crimex open was baked in the cake. Just a few reasons to take the metals down a notch or two:

Wednesday: Fed speak, forecast: 1/4 point rate cut

Wednesday: GDP figures, forecast: very weak, +1.6%

Thursday: Employment Cost Index, forecast: surging, to +0.7%

Friday: Non-Farm Payroll, forecast: very weak, +85k

Friday: ISM Manufacturing, forecast: still below 50, at 49

They’ve rope-a-doped gold and silver for nearly 2 months since both hit their multi-year highs on Sep. 4. The metals have bended, but not broken. The bullish pattern is very much still in force. The OI’s for both clearly indicate there is both a resolute buyer, and a resolute seller. That’s one epic standoff. The bulls have EVERYTHING going for their cause. The bears have CTRL-P, obfuscation, misdirection, and a teeny tiny amount of physical to keep the charade alive. Hocus-pocus isn’t a good long-term strategy for suppressing anything, let alone REAL money.

Roger that agreed. Its funny how soooo many people, have soooo much unspent excess unneeded money, that putting it in “storage” is a problem. There is so much demand for “storage space” its a burden for the “warehouse owners” to take it in, and don’t really want or need it. So they offer very little interest, or a small charge to store it.

One thing sometimes people aren’t aware of with prophesying is sometimes it can cause people to do things they wouldn’t ordinarily do. That could result in self fulfilling prophecy’s.
What does bother me is foreigners to our language will watch cartoons to learn English. They tend to believe what they see. For instance one legal immigrant told me when he cane here he thought he was going to Disneyland. That he thought America “ all of America “ was Disneyland. TV can also have negative impacts watching negative things and think that is what America is about so copy it not knowing it Fiction or a sub culture with in a culture not the culture. For instance I heard some people in the Philippines select one of their kids to be gay so they can be like Americans. Not knowing it’s a choice by a consenting adult not a mandate. I suspect this has humiliated and ruined a lot of innocent lives and possibly will cause suicide.
Beliefs can cause people to do what they normally wouldn’t. Don’t go out on Friday the 13 th.
Hollywood has some explaining to do especially with their massive C rated movies dominating the TV.
Having extra gas in the car however is always a good idea.

My son lives in West Seattle and goes to med school at the University of Washington. I going to tell him to at least gas up his vehicle on Thursday so if something does happen he can try to get of there. I hate the fear though.

Shares aren’t doing too badly today despite the drubbing in the metals. Go figure.
