I guess it would be like if Bernie Sanders got elected here. Total chaos. Fingers crossed!

I think they usually try to foist them off onto the London Metals Exchange. Not really sure how that works or how many really get metal. I think if crimex could only pay in fiat that would constitute a default … of course they would try to use words to make it seem like something else.
Anyways I like these kinds of stories even if none have really panned out so far … 🙂
ipso facto
Fingers crossed he won’t and then hopefully that will be the end of him and his mates. As at the moment the tories are useless, but Labour is way, way worse, so the tories can scare everyone into voting for them.
Our politics are really messed up…..never seen it this bad, no one with common sense and is normal can get anywhere, only PC riddled, woke cretins….I despair.

So if a big holder of Dec. contracts stands for delivery of the gold , Comex can substitute fiat ?
Figures !
Maddog ….. You gonna be looking for property in Portugal if this guy get in?
BIRMINGHAM, England (Reuters) – Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn unveiled his party’s election manifesto on Thursday, setting out radical plans to transform Britain with public sector pay rises, higher taxes on companies and a sweeping nationalisation of infrastructure.
I wonder if the Donald knows that the scum are bidding the Dollar
which is why it can never fall….someone stepped in today as the Eur/Usd took out 110.90 and stopped the rally dead and then reversed it…..

That would shake things up
Something very odd on Comex gold contract. With 7 bus days left, the Dec contract has 315,630 cn o/s (equiv 982 tonnes). That is a roll-off of 45,000 per day, equiv of 140 tonnes daily. Don't think I've seen such an extreme overhang.

I don’t really understand it either. It doesn’t seem in character with a guy we thought had integrity and it might be illegal as well. He’s got a lot of shares, maybe he sells a slug of it at predetermined intervals?
Hopefully we hear more about it today.
Cheers
Yep – the overnight plot looks like the Matterhorn as London opened

If McEwen actually dumped right before the offering I’d think he’d be opening himself up for an insider trading prosecution.
That would also put the company at risk for shareholder lawsuits.
Hard to believe he’d be that stupid.
