yes, robert soros is married to melissa robin schiff, but from a quick web search, it appears that melissa r. schiff is NOT adam’s sister. another branch of the schiff family tree. perhaps even no relation at all.
there are all kinds of schiff. adam schiff, chicken schiff, bull schiff…

Congratulations to the Federal Reserve. You’ve successfully created the most extreme, pre-collapse yield-seeking bubble in U.S. history! With lower return prospects than Aug 1929. While encouraging a debt bubble where half of all ‘investment grade’ debt is one step above junk.”

I think Sprott’s Gold Fund CEF is audited regularly to make sure the gold is there. It’s a lot different than GLD. At least that’s the way it used to be.
PS but it’s still not in your hand!

As long as those idiot funds keep playing the PM futures to the long side like they are (recent record open interest), you are right, stocks will use the forced selling of PM futures at strategic times to propel higher.
Because who the hell needs gold when stocks are rising right.
And everything must be fine and dandy if gold is going down.
At least that’s what the bankers would have you believe.
And that’s the way the dominant algorithms are programmed — by the bankers
So ya, this could last well into next year.

What is going on with that guy?
In one of my retirement accounts, I had some shares.
CEF -he subsumed them.
Now he’s going after my Toqueville Gold fund.
I seem to remember that I bought these because they held actual metals.
Don’t really know what I have now.

What’s with that? Catalytic converters for diesel trucks going on? And why not use Platinum? Only $896/oz? Half price. They used to always rotate back and forth to the cheaper metal.

The OI/CoT situation is a major event……or it is, if it is true, as what is true, in these mkts anymore….
The only thing I see which is true, is the the scum are sellers non stop and no-one talks about it.The same is true of the Dollar, the scum are always around to keep a bid in it and they are forever under the SM….but that of course makes everyone very happy.

has called zero out of the last 100 bull moves in gold.
Amazing he gets any print at all. If anything, I’d take whatever he says as a sell signal.

Glad you made it too.

Me either. Ipso might have some better puter’ skills but I don’t think he’s a spring chicken either, although he does mention getting out and chopping wood occasionally. 🙂

I do not post very often, and typically need to log-in again each time I wish to post something, even though I have clicked the ‘remember me’ button. Yesterday, when logging in, the forum would not respond to my first entry of my password. So I was in the process of requesting a new password, and then suddenly it did respond to a second or third attempt to enter the existing password. So problem resolved. Pardon me for raising an un-necessary alert to your watchful eye. I doubt that there is any ‘problem’ at your end of this forum’s website; you have to remember that I am not exactly a member of the millenium younger set, and social media intricacies are not part of my everyday skills. Comment:
As a shear guess, I’d say it could be a Gov’t lackey like Goldman Sachs following orders. Why would the Gov’t go naked long? To support inflation? We keep hearing they are afraid of deflation. Allowing gold or silver to sink would imply deflation in the future. Yes? No? Maybe?

In the latest sign that rising gold prices are giving Canada’s mining market a shot in the arm, Toronto-based Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp. has announced plans to raise $360 million through an initial public offering scheduled for next year.
The company, which finances mining projects for a cut of the revenue produced by the mine, known as royalties or streams depending on the details, was founded in 2016 by former Barrick Gold Corp. executive Shaun Usmar with backing from Elliott Management, a U.S. hedge fund known for its activism.
