Something very odd on Comex gold contract. With 7 bus days left, the Dec contract has 315,630 cn o/s (equiv 982 tonnes). That is a roll-off of 45,000 per day, equiv of 140 tonnes daily. Don't think I've seen such an extreme overhang.

I don’t really understand it either. It doesn’t seem in character with a guy we thought had integrity and it might be illegal as well. He’s got a lot of shares, maybe he sells a slug of it at predetermined intervals?
Hopefully we hear more about it today.
Cheers
Followed by the 8 am cascade from NYC :
If McEwen actually dumped right before the offering I’d think he’d be opening himself up for an insider trading prosecution.
That would also put the company at risk for shareholder lawsuits.
Hard to believe he’d be that stupid.

“Tom Obrien wasn’t too happy with McEwen for selling 300k plus mux shares last week”
I’d have to say that was quite a coincidence … selling right before the offering was announced. He’s a lucky guy to have that happen.
What a disappointment!
DNA tests indicate hunter biden is the father of a one year old in arkansas.
i wonder how much child support the courts will award.

from the Malarctic Mine that AEM and Yamana run. AEM is building a ramp right now to where the higher grade RZZ royalties are.
Ian Ball is only ceo that ever called me back.
RZZ dividend is 12 cents a year so McEwen got xmas money. Tom Obrien wasn’t too happy with McEwen for selling 300k plus mux shares last week
re: Abitibi Resources
Interesting company that I never heard of before. They have their fingers in a lot of pies. Not much volume. Interesting that they’ve chosen to stay on the Venture exchange. To save a couple of bucks? Refreshing.

Roger that, its been on my watchlist a long time. Along with ANGPY and PALDF are similar ones.

Impuy is Impala, largest Plat and Pall producer in South Africa.
Out performed ETFs PALL and PPLY. Another good PGMs play is SBGL.
I think he should change the name and symbol to something more appealing. Like Sunshine Mining or something related to mining. Or anything other than McEwen. Plus ticker “MUX” is reminding me of the old dog with an unpleasant symbol “DROOY”.
Everybody called it Drooy. I think it was Durban Deep or Durban Roodepoort Deep, Limited. Nobody wanted to say they just bought some DROOY. 🙂
Maybe he used his name thinking it would attract buyers, and it did in the beginning if I remember right.
You got me on that one, but I’m sure he’s got his reasons for the financing.
Maybe he’s buying bullion.
Bullion continues to outperform the shares long-term (making all this speculation comical).
