know damm well that it isn’t warranted…but they have been going with the flow reluctantly…this sets up the possiblility for PANIC…if the mkts don’t immediately recover—there have been huge profits booked and the boys know they can go up in smoke in 2 or 3 days….that said lets see the the FED desk and the PPT can do by morning …and tomorrow

we shouldn’t expect too much out of this decline. the psychology has something to do with everybody is expecting a good break here so if stocks recover speculators will be less likely to short sell
As I have said on friday-that bears and bulls….NOBODY can imagine a serious decline–even diehard bears dare not call more than a 3 to 5% decline followed by new highs…one day the mkt will just slow/fast crash & not recover quickly…so I see xxxxxxx and armstrongs call as typical in that they call for a decline that is not serious but they “promise” that there really will be a big one later—scouts honor!! and, they, of course will be on top of the situation and let us know ahead of time…like mighty mouse they will “come to save the day”

Yeah, they’re slowly picking apart the gold and silver prices. Still seeing the DOW down 300 but I suspect that if gold turns south the DOW will head north.

Seems like they contained it locking down the whole city so hopefully it won’t spread to here or other countries. Only one or two here and there so far so good. Just have to be careful during the incubation period.
It would be easy for them to take something to bring down a temp to get through if anything to get treated somewhere else considering their hospitals are overwhelmed.
They’re actually building another hospital over it.
Just good to know what it is what it can do and how to treat it.

down 260…I “seen” gold up $16…we are 14 minutes open and the action has been very jerky jerky…I suspect the ranges have been established UNTIL asia opens…if that gets hairy then maybe the dow goes down more–then europe…t’would be nice to see the dow down an ole 400-500 pts in the am…
we’ve heard for years that the fed just has to hit a few keystrokes to make everything better…ok…I understand the concept…let’s see what the NY TRade desk can do…
If u ask me, I’d say they should let the mkt correct now cause the virus is the perfect cover instead of trump…by mid summer or in 30 days all the losses would be made up and new highs could be touted by trump going into the erection…
a mkt this extremely stretched to the upside should just crash…there is no question that the dow would be down 1000 already were it not already being bought by the FED & PPT

With the info coming from Canada and the virus plus vaccine company’s it is very suspicious imo
Coronavirus been around for awhile but that doctor only spoke half truths. He didn’t mention the difference between a mild case and a severe case what to watch for and why. This does a disservice to the public because if people get the severe case they may wait too long to get help. It’s away to prevent panic to the public.
Hopefully China which is so overpopulated has contained it pretty much.
In the mean time they’re now trying to build a hospital in 6 days as theirs not enough beds to treat all the cases. If it were mild they wouldn’t need to be Hospitalized.
I’d be interested to know the approximate real number of cases and though who had the severe form out of those cases to see what the percentage.

I think Alex Jones was like that the few times I listened to a video of his. These authors want attention, so the crazier things they say, people will read it. Its just entertainment really. Like a crazy scary movie. Like Friday the 13th? Or the chainsaw killer movie. 🙂

Was listening to a Dr. on FOX news on my way home from the gym. He didn’t seem too worried about this Coronavirus. Basically just another form of the cold or flu. They expect to have a vaccine in the next couple of months. Not as serious as SARS and definitely nothing comparable to Ebola where 70-80% of the people died.
Appears at least for now, it’s being a little overhyped. Zero Hedge loves the doom porn. I like ZH but they sure like the hype and fear.
Governments have a vested interest in keeping us in fear.

Good points in that post. Who really knows what’s going on anymore. Trusting the mass media is simply not possible. Plus they all (millions of media employees) need something to say 24 hours a day 365 days a year. If it turns out to be another hoax that proves it was intended to create more jobs.
We used to be an industrial economy, and gradually they have been turning the world into a Climate Change Economy. Like paying people to dig holes, and pay others to fill them in. Think about it. What do people do all day that are employed by climate change rules?
My auto mechanic changes a lot of in tank fuel pumps, cam shaft position sensors, fuel tank pressure sensors, and mass air flow sensors. Up here in NY they think we are all wealthy. Down in Florida they don’t worry check engine soon lights. To pass inspection.

Usually they mess with gold during the Chinese New Year, London and the Crimex have the markets to themselves for the most part. I wonder that will be the case this time around given the current circumstances and the recent skiddishness in the SM.

Doctors also identified 13 other patients who had no contact with the market, which helps build the case for human to human transmission.
The absence of a link to the seafood market is one of the indicators for human-to-human transmission of the virus and the researchers identified another 13 patients who also had no direct exposure to the market.
“Taken together, evidence so far indicates human transmission for 2019-nCoV,” the report said. “We are concerned that 2019-nCoV could have acquired the ability for efficient human transmission,” the researchers added, along with a strong recommendation for precautions such as fit-tested N95 respirators and other personal protective equipment.

Right! Many of those cases JUST appeared in the past day or two; confirmed cases, so we will have to give them a week or so to die off before we get the BIG picture.
As for the “official” commie #’s, the “dead” out number the “recovered”
That would confirm greater than 50% mortality rate… if they’re not lying. And if they are, and the numbers are greater (which I suspect they are) of infected, what kind of mortality rate would cause a government to lock down 18 cities in 4 days???

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people around the world every year. Not sure how this is any worse? Sounds like more doom porn. And I love doom porn.
All the other alarms SARS, Zika…etc never triggered my internal concern. There’s something about Coronavirus that just feels different.Thats just me though.
I think everyone knows this is the big event., yes I am prepared.
This is a Ro 2 virus, its gonna get way out of hand. I thought the W.H.O not calling it an epidemic was way out of line and over politicized.
