IMHO, all of these charts that compare today’s stock market action to the late 1930’s, or any other period, just aren’t comparing “ apples to apples.”
In those prior periods, the stock market was comprised of authentic buyers and sellers and a real price was found for derivatives. Today, the algorithms programmed by young graduates of the MIT’s of the world, buy stocks no matter what. There’s no price discovery involved at all.
I always appreciate the posts here and don’t mean any disrespect.
