Loading ...Now total is 4. Visiting couple flew in to Kauai on Hawaiian Airlines days ago, came down sick, tested positive and are now in isolation on Kauai island. Airline and health department furiously tracking movements and other passengers. Still no visible ‘community spread’ here. Hawaiian Airlines notes passenger loads down. Without saying which routes, they say they have downsized 10%… so far.
And still the cruise ships come a-docking in Hawaii, circulating tourists among us. State pleas to Federal DOT to ban cruise ships is so far not happening. Will it will take a proven ‘spreader’ case from a cruise ship here before they act? Damn federal bureaucracy… reactive rather than proactive.
