Funny, ain’t it? I remember days quite recently when the z$ index was down .700 or .800 and gold was DOWN a few bucks…there are NO rules when it comes to gold–anything goes….just as long as thy can supress the price
Incredibly this chart shows JNUG still with an rsi of 27….it’s probably from yesterday but still….

They’ve taken almost half the gains since I’ve been up.
I’d like to see silver fight back a bit but as the Captain mentioned yesterday it may not have a bunch of “squeezability” and will nee the buyers to overwhelm the sellers somehow.

Tks for that…yet all my stuff shows way less and it was tradeable…….I guess it was a fast mkt…no prices held.

printed 1697 earlier. Wish Wanka was here, Scruffy and all the great guys that are passed. Sainthood folks sainthood. Where’s the Con Guy? All the grubby kids are sitting at the GS stations, floors of these dickweeds ready to enforce damage control in 23 minutes. The dollar got nipped a bit, let’s wait until it’s in free fall

CNBS – now @ $1677
I have to think it’s Netdania that has something squirrely going on.
Although GLD is only up $5.70 @ $152
based on a close yesterday of $146.30, GLD should be up around $157-158
Maybe the damn thing is defaulting and can’t get the metal to support the price.

Yup a mate just told me he saw 1690 somewhere….but the highest I saw was 1650 and now the scum are smashing every rally…..holding it sub $ 1600…..
As I said there should no serious sellers here…most punters/funds were stopped out on the big smash, the hoarders/Bugs want lots more, anyone in the investment world has to looking…..Mines may not have production to hedge…so other than the scum who is selling especially in size….no-one with a brain.

Netdania appears to be the outlier?
Granted. I’ve been up for 45 minutes, in that time they taken silver from up $.91 to up $.65 and Gold up $125 to up $104
Regardless, this will be a wild day.
Helicopter money is apparently working and inflation is beginning.

Love to be proved wrong…but having just watched them smash Gold back below 1600, from screaming up to 1650 and now hold it below….the game stinks of the same tactics.
The refineries are closeing, mines may not produce, the printing presses are flat out..u just have to have some gold, no one does and it;s still dirt cheap…yet the sellers are still there…..

Yeah, I see what you’re saying. I’m looking at Netdania and the quote shows $1588, with Silver up $.11
Kitco shows $1653.90
CNBS showed gold @ $1670 earlier.
GLD implies gold up $50 from yesterday’s close.
Prices are all over the map.

Didn’t think I’d live to see the time when we had a $100 up day in gold, but here it is – at least this am.
Savoring the moment.
Really wonder how the Crimex is going to react with all those shorts outstanding.
As of right this minute, I believe gold is the only asset that is up since this stock market has crashed, although I guess bonds might be up a bit…
edit: Looking at GLD this am – doesn’t compute. It is up $5.17 but kind of stuck there. It should be up $10 from yesterday’s close.

announced by the Health Dept. tonight. Death occurred last Friday. Elderly patient had ‘multiple underlying health problems’.
I suspect this was the first patient hospitalized in Honolulu last week.

We have five cases on the Big Island here. Population about 200k very spread out and rural here. No worries. We are all on selenium at the house. I have a nebulizer and colloidal silver if needed. We are all spraying nasal and throat with silver daily also.
Hawaii Governor issued mandatory stay at home/work at home orders starting Wed. similar to other states. All public gatherings shut down. Essential services only. Thru April 30.
The ‘Norwegian Jewel’ cruise ship limped into Honolulu several days ago with one of two main engines disabled. They were denied port at several south pacific islands in recent weeks and need serious engine repairs here. Hawaii granted them resupply docking and agreed to offload passengers here for evacuation only. No visible illness onboard. All passengers were screened before being offloaded on buses and taken directly to the airport where charter airlines were arranged to take passengers home. Some were Australian, some American, and maybe a few other areas. So we accomplished a humanitarian evacuation here with little or no risk. There are still 1000 crew members onboard staying with the ship during repairs and back to home port.
With Aloha Stadium shut down until at least April 30, the stadium parking lot is jammed full now with thousands of ‘mothballed’ rental cars in storage since we have no tourists. Strange sight to see on video. Car rental companies are paying the state rental fees for storing the cars.
Hawaiian Airlines is shutting down ALL long-haul overseas flights at the end of this week. InterIsland flights only.
