83 Tons of Fake Gold
Maybe 4% of China’s ‘reserves’ are fake. (Look Surprised!)
@Goldilocks re Black White Situation? Its All Simply Money and Jobs Related imo.
You had a lot of good stuff to say, thought provoking here. All I know is back in the 1950s and 1960s BEFORE all the outside “attention” about civil rights laws, we had places I remember still had White or Colored Only signs here and there for rest rooms and water fountains etc, but absolutely no crime or problems with minorities. Most people went to church too. Now there are new “religions” like save the whales, and get rid of plastic and fossil fuel religions.
There was plenty of gainful employment, and very adequate low income wages. All you needed was a job. Any job. And you were ok. My uncle had 5 kids drove a diaper truck service. Who can afford diaper service today? Everybody with a baby had diaper service.
We had a milk man, a garbage man, that came in the back yard, dumped your garbage into his pail and went back to his truck. I remember an ice man with a pick up truck. A bread and cake delivery truck, a knife sharpener guy with a truck. Even the damn Doctor came to the one salary household.
Bottom line. Bring back all the jobs that provide our needs, and if you own a business, law requires you pay what’s adequate (like for electric and water) and whats needed in your county, by the “natural resource” unskilled labor pool to be able to CONTRIBUTE to society. And not be a burden.
If the business can’t afford the true cost, of labor, the boss has to shut down and go out a get a good job. Or just take less profit. Or get more efficient, get costs down. Basically an adequate minimum wage would be like a tax on businesses.
The present “below living cost” wages are like a tax BREAK or tax SUBSIDY to enable or promote unemployed people the ability to start a businesses which creates THOUSANDS of artificially low income jobs.
Labor cost was so affordable a friend of mine had 65 cheap employees. At the end of his life he was worth $5 million. If he paid MORE? maybe $2 million instead. He was retail. Retail screwed themselves by importing, and gov’t screwed themselves, by allowing it and not adjusting lowest wage for inflation.
It all doesn’t matter anymore. Things went full circle. Everything in transition trying to right itself. Meanwhile the Media has everybody’s attention on the wrong balls. Instead of a possible global depression and or financial currency fiasco.
Get a recliner, and pop corn machine ready for the future news. 🙂
P.S. My grandfather (unskilled labor had 8 kids wife didn’t work) needed new leaders and gutters. Two men came with big rolls of Copper sheet metal, cut and formed and installed them. COPPER!! What guy can afford copper gutters today? Evidently unskilled labor had a high value.
When did all the “cheap skate economy” crap start. The Media taught and convinced the entire US population that “saving money” getting the cheapest price you can get is most important objective, even if your are loaded.
Was the cheap skate low wages and $4 screwdriver and the high quality Toyota really worth it?

Fake Chinese Gold
Who would trust a yuan now that was supposedly backed by physical gold?
Maybe they could trade between governments with tests prior to exchange but what about the guy that wanted to exchange $1k Yuan for some gold?
So much corruption in the world.
Me Copper
I had conversations with people wondering what white privilege is! Is it because you have to work for a living many say. I have no idea.
I do have a idea is its a war on whites.
It is race centered. People question for instance if black lives matter why don’t they matter in their own communities.
That’s why they will only react to say a white cop doing something but not a minority. If a minority kills another or a white not a word. They are not solving one problem with crime or poverty as businesses leave area.
If minorities try to make a better life then they are called Uncle Toms. If they become cops or vote republican or start their own businesses they are no longer Edited ..black.
Their leaders are not solving the problems but perpetuating them. They will not unite this country or what’s best for America as a whole because they see America as white and their own racism or anti American views.
People question why no one talks about all the black victims done in their own communities but that’s why. The groups or people supposed to be against racism or representing them are not representing and the biggest perpetrators.
Now with being election year and anti American left wanting to bring the economy down and unemployment benefits going to run out in a few months while their own leftist areas being destroyed who is going to be hurting the most. All are going to have their own hardships and see these leftists as making it worse.
By September most on unemployment will have run out and after this next month will no longer get extra money.
The have left know this and hope it will be blamed on Trump not their own doing.
Watching yesterday’s news today I saw a guy on TV who’s black who’s son a good kid was walking home from school and was murdered by a illegal as part of a gang imitation. I remember the case because his mother was in the service overseas fighting to protect others while her own son was murdered in her own country.
Her husband said when the illegals started moving in the black leaders on the left were okay with it because they thought they could team up against the whites. So this is a race war they’re perpetuating.
He said after time it crowded out blacks, their jobs and community guessing he meant housing and resources and then his son was murdered.
Businesses will hire a Mexican faster then a blacks generally due to a history of job performance and also many times for lower wage.
But with the honest type comes the criminals that also influence or threaten their kids.
He went to three black representatives and they did nothing about catching the criminals involved the crime or illegal individuals bringing it.
He said they made comments like he’s siding with the whites or opening a Pandora’s box. These reps are using their position to wage a war on whites which is the majority that they also want to change.
So securing our borders and safe communities is a white thing basically they’re telling them. I get the feeling they think it’s no use but it’s not because of racism it’s because their own communities enabling it.

My Conclusion: The Massive Silent Majority Matters, More Than Anything Else
They are quiet easy going, docile most of the time, they are mature, have common sense and intelligent (until they buy an imported car:) But they can only take so much nonsense. And that’s why Trump got elected.
And these immature stupid mobs in the streets pulling down historic statues are making themselves look dumb and stupid to the silent majority. The sleeping giant. They will get the opposite of what they want. They already got HALF the cake, but they what the WHOLE cake, but will end up with LESS than half if any cake.
I blame the Media for un-educating or reverse educating the gullible naïve dreamer young parts of the population. Evidently the Media is fully employed with those types of people. Freedom of the press is important, Power, but abuse of power I believe is against the law.
Now a days lots of common people have Freedom of the press now on phones and computers. Two can now play the same game as one. Fight fire with fire.
@Maddog re Chinese People’s Traits
Re Your: “Chinese were far and away the least trustworthy people”
I and my brother, both had negative experiences at two different times with a Chines female owner of a dry cleaner place. She kept calling me a riar, (liar) but in reality she was the obnoxious person and liar. Also had a negative thing with a Chinese man re a used car situation. Two out of two, and after what you posted, leads me to believe a lot of them must have the same traits and attitudes.
I think we are still allowed to hate democrats. 🙂 They never passed any hate crime legislation for them. We’re also still allowed to hate bankers I think. 🙂 And look at all the cop hating. They should ban that, create hate crime legislation to protect cops. They are like military. The criminals should carry little white flags, and wave them right away and give up when cops arrive.
Maddog @ 12:33
In my observations over the years I have seen the same thing. The Chinese are sharp dealers and buyer beware! Just musing but perhaps it has something to do with them being Communist for so long. No religion in the main and no sense of “fair play.” In my outlook and in a lot of western people’s minds the golden rule is real and if you don’t deal squarely with people then you have no honor and are not a “good” person. I’m sure this doesn’t apply to all Chinese people but it sure seems to be a factor that comes into play.
Cheers

Re Oops.
That is far from the 1st time that collateral, is either missing or fake in China….If I remember correctly Copper was involved with Standard Bank, a while back, it cost Standard millions.
Many, many years back, I was told by a Minor Metals trader, that the Chinese were far and away the least trustworthy people, u could trade with and that was amongst some very stiff competition. They were very big in Mercury and if u had a fwd deal with them and the price moved in their favour, they would just not deliver and that was State Co’s !!!!!
Seems nothing much changes, u just can’t trust ’em unless it is all nailed down.
AUFEVER-I musta missed it, pls try again
keep in mind that to halt-reverse- or cure a chronic illness requires a radical lifestyle change–that the patient stop being passive and take charge of his health–and follow whatever protocol necessary CORRECTLY and OVER TIME–some patients may be too weak to do that-so they would need loving friends or relatives to help them…i’ve been doing this diet for 40 years and maybe one out of a 100 will actually do the diet corretly…the other 99 will spend the rest of their lives saying=” Yeah, I know all about the macro diet and it doesn’t work”
I have been practicing macrobiotic diet since 1972. Congential heart condition. Not expected to live past 4 or earlier years. I will be 69 in this year. Barb Frey.
The main pull towards Macrobiotics for me is that IT MAKES SENSE and you needn’t get involved with any gimmicky potions or pills. It is what it is and it is just about how you feel and how to take care of yourself. The answer to how you feel starts with what you eat. Having incorporated a Macrobiotic diet and lifestyle for over a year now I have experienced many milestones to reassure myself that this is good for me … my mind clearing up, my insight improving, my confidence building and the increase in physical endurance that I experienced this winter, which is beneficial to my job as a professional ski instructor.
Gunars Kazaks – Prof. Ski InstructorThe Journey continues.. It was 16 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and told that chemo may give me 6 months to live. I believed that and decided to not take the drugs but to begin my own natural healing. I was two months into my “healing” Journey when I
discovered Macrobiotics. I learned a great deal with the books and self study. I met some good people at the K.I. (macro center) and their fellowship helped me along the way. I am still living the great life and at age 55 feel great still walk an hour a day and still enjoy the good foods from the earth. I will be leaving for China in two weeks to travel and learn for the next three months. Life is Great. I wish you all this Great Life as well.

In 2001 I was diagnosed with stomach cancer stage III, grade.
My prognosis was 6 months, the most 12 with chemoradiation. After two major surgeries, and in the middle of chemoration, I got a consultation with Mr Kushi, who was the first human to give me some hope. Well, I followed his recommendations, and changed my lifestyle overnight.
It worked, I was dismissed from checkups last year, considered completely cured, though doctors never admit the power of it, they agree that a healthy lifestyle gave me life back. I am and will always be grateful to Michio and to all the people dedicated to macrobiotics, if one embraces it with trust, the rest is a question of cause and effect. Good habits generate
good health. Thanks to you all.
ESTELA DE PAOLA DE LERMA – Sculptor and Art Educator
In late April 2007 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer that had metastized slightly to my left pelvic bone. I went on a strict “Kushi Prostate Cancer Macrobiotic Diet”. I retained Verne Varona, an “OUTSTANDING” Macrobiotic counsellor with a strong Macrobiotic background.
After 3 months my PSA dropped from 39.6 to 0.8, and my testosterone dropped from 426 to 10. ( I also took Casodex & Zolodex for about 2 months staring 5-1-07 and terminated both 6-1-07) I am now taking no drugs and am cancer free I also lost 21 pounds from 153 to 132 (height 5’81/2″ age 70) and many other positive changes are too numerous to go into.
Macrobiotics should be a worldwide requirement – however the profit driven medical establishment is to ingrained and powerful to allow natural healing to curtail their money machines.

As a child, I had chronic chest problems. I suffered from pneumonia at age 7 and had my tonsils removed at age 8 and was forever getting bad coughs and colds. When I discovered Macrobiotics and omitted all dairy products from my diet, it was nothing short of a miracle. I can honestly say that I rarely get a cold or cough now and haven’t had to visit a doctor in years. Macrobiotics has taught me that the cure really is in the kitchen.
Aine McAteer – personal macrobiotic/health chef to some of Hollywood’s top actors, including Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Pierce Brosnan and Robert Redford.
Macrobiotics has provided me with a sense of purpose in my life, confidence in my ability to deepen my own health, and optimism in my ability to help others – friends, family, and patients – improve their health. It has provided a fascinating counterpoint to the standard western perspectives on molecular biology and pathophysiology. And beyond this, it has helped me to see the unity in all creation and to understand the process of change.
Gordon Alan Saxe, MD, PhD – Assistant Adjunct Professor, Family & Preventive Medicine
Cancer Prevention & Control Program
Macrobiotics has been a key part of my life. Macrobiotics has given me vast energy, the ability to heal, as well as prevent illness, clarity of mind, and strength of spirit. Macrobiotic principles and philosophy are so vital! Macrobiotics continues to serve as a bridge towards my own self-realization.
Andrew Vavrek – Musician
On an intellectual level macrobiotics, although assimilating & using the concepts is sometimes confusing, it has given me clarity and understanding about the world in which we live, why things are the way they are, why things happen the way they do and I find that comforting. Physically, the improvement to my health was dramatic, I lost 30lbs in the first two months of the change and literally felt light and happy, I was on the way to irritable bowel syndrome and that miraculously disappeared, my athlete’s foot went away never to return, my PMS and heavy periods – gone! etc. etc. and I probably am in better shape than I was when I was a teenager although I am 43. I get a lot of pleasure when I get an ‘aha!’, when something clicks, some smidgeon of understanding as I continue to broaden my knowledge. I have direction and passion in my life because of macrobiotics which very importantly helps me to get up in the morning!
Anna Rosenberg – Teacher
In the beginning, it cleared my skin and eliminated my chronic fatigue, asI quit eating milk products and sugar. It also vastly improved my moods, from gloomy and melancholy to cheerful and energetic. The philosophical approach was very important to me. Ohsawa’s dictum.”a theory without a practice is useless; a practice without a theory is dangerous,” became a major concept underlying my life and my work.
Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D – The founded of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts
Macrobiotics is a way of eating, thinking, and living that is intended to help you to become your best self. The food and way of life provides energy, lightness of being, clarity of mind, and a broad view of life.
We have to use these gifts in order to better understand ourselves and others, to have greater compassion, to have the courage to open our hearts, to speak our truths, and become ourselves. Doing these simple things becomes a path to your inner nature, your soul.
This is the real spiritual path. Macrobiotics has helped me to become more myself. It’s helped me accept myself more completely, to relax ever more deeply into my being, and to live and speak more fully from my heart.
Tom Monte – authors and teachers of natural healing. He has written more than 30 books and hundreds of articles on virtually every area of health.
Macrobiotics helped me in some expected and unexpected ways. The understanding about food was initially, meaning the first seven years, very important to me. But as I grew more knowledgeable about cooking, I began to discover a much deeper meaning of macrobiotics, and that has to do with freedom. It is possible to be attached to anything, even the best things such as spiritual ideals or philosophical beliefs.
Anne Scott
I was already a vegetarian (from birth) but I ate a lot of sugar and junk food. The diet made sense to me. I loved the rice and found it to be so satisfying. I began to attend Michio’s lectures and the philosophy sounded right. It was such a big view; looking at human life from a single cell to the whole cosmos. That is big. And now, 38 years later, I still think that whole grains can be one way to save humanity and the sanity of the race.
Betsy Polatin -The faculty at the Opera Institute and Boston University
Macrobiotics has helped me be more of who I am. What I mean is that is has inspired me to be the absolute best Bita I can be. It has also always been a force of positivity, coupled with my own personal philosophy. I feel it has given me an edge in life. I never feel alone because I have a strong belief in philosophy as a whole. To quote Nietzsche, one of my favorite philosophers: “We are always in our own company.” This quote is tender yet whimsical at the same time.
Food wise, macrobiotics has helped me have more energy and vigor than anyone I know. The combination of a macrobiotic diet and an avid love of fitness keeps me brimming with spunk. I look at people my age and I can’t believe that we’re the same age!. I had a fiesta recently to celebrate my 25th birthday, and people were just sitting on the couch like slugs, watching television. I was ready to dance the night away!
Bita Hunt
The macrobiotic way of life has been with me for over 16 years now, and the continued changes I have observed sometimes will astound even me. It takes a few years, but gradually old paradigms melt away and a new, healthier and happier way of thinking develops instead. I feel clearer, more organized, happier and healthier than I ever could have imagined possible. The macrobiotic way of life never ceases to amaze me, even to this day.

Mystery of $2bn of loans backed by fake gold in China
More than a dozen Chinese financial institutions, mainly trust companies, loaned 20 billion yuan ($2.8 billion) over the past five years to Wuhan Kingold Jewelry Inc. with pure gold as collateral and insurance policies to cover any losses.
Kingold is the largest privately owned gold processor in central China’s Hubei province. Its shares are listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York. The company is led by Chairman Jia Zhihong, an intimidating ex-military man who is the controlling shareholder.
What could go wrong?
Well, plenty, as at least some of 83 tons of gold bars used as collateral turned out to be nothing but gilded copper. That has left lenders holding the bag for the remaining 16 billion yuan of loans outstanding against the bogus bars. The loans were covered by 30 billion yuan of property insurance policies issued by state insurer PICC Property and Casualty Co. Ltd. (PICC P&C) and other smaller insurers.

Amazes me how many people are falling for the “end of days” charade being obviously orchestrated by the left…right before the election.
Its a classic left wing hissy fit. They want you scared, and believing the world is going to hell right before you step into the polling booths to vote against the incumbent.

The Iron Fist … “Demographic Genocide”
China forces birth control on Uighurs to suppress population
The Chinese government is taking draconian measures to slash birth rates among Uighurs and other minorities as part of a sweeping campaign to curb its Muslim population, even as it encourages some of the country’s Han majority to have more children.
While individual women have spoken out before about forced birth control, the practice is far more widespread and systematic than previously known, according to an AP investigation based on government statistics, state documents and interviews with 30 ex-detainees, family members and a former detention camp instructor. The campaign over the past four years in the far west region of Xinjiang is leading to what some experts are calling a form of “demographic genocide.”
The state regularly subjects minority women to pregnancy checks, and forces intrauterine devices, sterilization and even abortion on hundreds of thousands, the interviews and data show. Even while the use of IUDs and sterilization has fallen nationwide, it is rising sharply in Xinjiang.
The population control measures are backed by mass detention both as a threat and as a punishment for failure to comply. Having too many children is a major reason people are sent to detention camps, the AP found, with the parents of three or more ripped away from their families unless they can pay huge fines. Police raid homes, terrifying parents as they search for hidden children.
