The Seattle Police Department, with help from Bellevue police and the FBI, swept into the CHOP early Wednesday with heavily equipped officers and tactical vehicles to clear out the Capitol Hill protest zone and arrest people who remained there.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan issued an executive order at 4:58 a.m. declaring “gathering in this area an unlawful assembly requiring immediate action from city agencies, including the Police Department.”
Police moved in around 5 a.m., issuing dispersal orders for “anyone who remains in the area or returns to the area.” They had arrested 23 people by 7:45 a.m., according to the department.
At least 100 police officers equipped with body armor, batons, helmets and weapons moved into the CHOP, which stands for Capitol Hill Organized Protest.
Demonstrators have occupied several blocks around Cal Anderson Park and the Police Department’s East Precinct for about three weeks. Police left the precinct after standoffs and clashes with protesters calling for racial justice and an end to police brutality.

I didn’t see it coming. Pretty good hit job on the pm complex despite a weaker USD.
Have to see if the dippers see it as an opportunity in the shares and if the SM continues to rally.

What a year it’s been for stocks. The S&P crashed more than -19% in Q1 and surged more than +19% in Q2. Insane volatility The only other times in history when this happened? Q3 1932 (Great Depression) Q2 1938 (Great Depression)
NASDAQ / S&P volume ratio has gone through the roof, and is now higher than at the peak of the dot-com bubble!
The MSCI World Growth/Value ratio’s 14 month RSI is at its *highest level* ever! (higher than in 2000 and 2007)

Maybe so, although G & S were both down $7 & $.10 respectively about a half hour ago and have since recovered to up slightly.
However, there is an ADP report coming out in about 15 minutes so that will give the scum an excuse…
USD up a little, we’ll see.

You’re right, that probably is good news, long options of those funds will be taken off the market.
Hope that means those funds with the short options will be perpetually squeezed.
I just find the timing a bit telling.

With the COVID picking up again although true cases can’t be reliable because they’re being told to about who does who doesn’t. Once they do advocates and family can’t see them or verify symptoms.
With further shutdowns and police quitting and abolish police mantra it will get worse.
Another thing going on for now they’re targeting women sometimes men if ganged up on. Started with older women 70-90 plus just punching them pasSing by on the street. Now robbing them one recently a younger woman with a child in Texas putting grocery’s in the car punching her with a young son nearby and stealing her purse. Another older women knocked her down stole her purse.
One does it other Bad ones follow. Apparently a lot of them. Predatory coward copy cat parasites. One that did get caught in NY had a history of a 100 arrests and let go.
Be careful going out now and going forward with this shut down AGAIN.
