FYI I just found out that a good friend of my wife and mine has been very ill for a few days and went to seek medical help . The hospital believes she has COVID/SARS and sent her home quarantined until the test results are back in a few days . I tried to forward the link to the Debbie Discusses interview with the Dr. on YouTube , but YT apparently feels it challenges WHO/CDC/NIH and re-directs to a dull discussion of Budesonide , ignoring the nebulizer part . (BTW the link in your post still works , but using the link in my browser history misdirects me to the wrong video).

I myself in my entire lifetime was never afraid or concerned about the environment. Many people are via Media. In my view the “better environment” agenda was a job creation scheme to help over ride loss of industrial jobs. The stricter environment rules here, helped foreign nations prosper, as our domestic wealth producers moved to their countries.

Unfortunately, environment jobs are like “over head” jobs, you pay for with profit from wealth producing jobs. China is probably starting stricter rules now, they can afford it, we can’t anymore.  I and all my Gun Shooting friends KNEW in the 1970s that our future economy would go down, lower living standards, because of the “new” EPA.

Even during Vietnam we had to fight with one hand tied behind our backs. I’m very optimistic for the USA since 2008. I got pessimistic for the future after 1970. Peak horsepower, 375 HP from 350 Cubes. !971, less, 1972 less on and on, they pissed me off taking away horsepower claiming a waste of gasoline.

I forget what year the horse power bottomed and started back up. Plenty of horsepower available these days if you can afford it.  My 1998 GMC Jimmy 4.3 liter V-6 can tow 5000 pounds.    To check the power and durability of your vehicle, check the owners manual, and see how LITTLE you can tow.  Probably 1,200 lbs.

Years ago after working a 16 hr shift I decided to stop by a 24 hour restaurant to get something to eat before I headed home.
All of a sudden two big guys over 6’3 rusher in were drunk and fighting. One ran off while the other started raising hell. A server behind the counter reached for phone and the guy grabbed it from her and pulled the cord out of the wall.
A guy next to my table got up and guessing he was a police officer or professional wrestler at least took this guy down had him on the floor in a choke hold but wasn’t choking less the guy did it to himself if he moved.
Then the other guy came back yelling at the guy on the floor being held by the other customer.
I jumped up stood in between them and started talking to him. Nobody else did anything they were just watching.
Besides telling him that guy scared that poor underpaid server to death people are tired from work just want to get something to eat. In my day they took their fights outside. The only one I saw glancing around ready to act was a cook with a knife behind the counter.
I told him the police were coming. He said they weren’t. I told him what do you think happens when you pull a phone out of someone’s hands after they called the police? They come and right away at a business. Besides any of these people could have a cell phone. He still didn’t believe me. I said okay I’ll bet you. I have 5 bucks cash in my pocket. You wait outside in the parking lot. If they don’t come in 5 minutes you can have the five bucks. I said you don’t have much time I’m guessing there gonna be here sooner just say I’m psychic.
I told him there’s only one way out for me to the parking lot.
He looked at me and walked out. No somber than he walked out comes in two cops with a big yellow taser.
I though omg I don’t want to have to see this but the guy was smart and said I’ll do anything you want officers and they took him away. The other guy disappeared saving him from getting arrested too I’m not sure.
Turned out they were fighting over a girl who was inside and why they came inside the place, she came over to my table and talked to me about it and told me I could of been killed and she couldn’t believe it. I told her in so many words to think about herself then.
The kind of things going on out there it just shows how these people are totally detached from realty.

Extracted from the seeds of soybeans and used in everything from fast food to animal feed and even baby formula, soybean oil is easily the most widely consumed oil in the US, ubiquitous in the national cuisine.

It’s in McDonald’s fries, Pizza Hut crust, and the “healthy” 9-grain bread used for your Subway sandwich.

A research team from University of California, Riverside has been studying the impact of soybean oil for several years. They previously found that it induces diabetes and obesity in mice, hardly surprising given that vegetable oils are high in saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. By now, most people know that eating too much fried food is bad for your ticker.

Yeah I think Macleod’s timetable is bonkers. Major changes like that don’t happen quickly. Inflation is rising I think but not that much yet and on few people’s radar. If the dollar became worthless this year it would be Mad Max Time in the US and I just don’t see that happening.

MacLeod is a funny duck and sure seems to get a lot of press when gold is moving. Not sure if that’s a good thing for anyone who is new to the arena and wants to believe in a quick move to $5-10K.

We’ve seen a lot of wrong way MacLeod sensationalism in the last 20 years, don’t see how the USD goes to zero when it’s still the worlds reserve currency at the moment.
