That article is very vague about ‘how to” use it. Yes, it is a surgical grade antiseptic, but would you want to swab down your sinus and throat with that stuff regularly? I don’t think so. Maybe ONCE if you were definitely exposed… but that would probably be the LAST time you would do it, too! I regularly take Iodine supplements also for thyroid health (EVERY hormone in your body made in the thyroid is done with the help of Iodine), but that’s not the same as direct application on the viral infection.
I have several small ‘travel nebulizers’ I have been experimenting with on reco. of Dr. Frank Shallenberger’s “Second Opinion” newsletter. I posted about this here earlier. Weak peroxide solution in normal saline inhaled with a nebulizer will kill lung viruses. Also, glutathione amino acid is an antiOxidant that the lung naturally uses as a protective coating. I have found that glutathione will dissolve to saturation in normal saline at levels far below what was theraputically recommended, but even so it works well. I have dissolved pure glutathione powder into normal saline until no more will dissolve and it falls to the bottom. Then I took the liquid part into the nebulizer and inhaled about 5ml of it.
It is very mild, nearly tasteless, and is refreshing and clearing to the lungs. Being antioxidant, it is healing to the lung surfaces and allows them to regenerate.
