Man funeral time for TSLA shorts eh?

Posted by eeos @ 9:59 on July 13, 2020

It hit $1794 this morning. I love it. Alot of people are getting steamrolled. Even if this is the top, what a helluva run. If Tesla can do this, Silver can hit $100+ no problem if the conditions are right

Quite a comeback for EGO

A Swiss doctor has set up a blog to tell the real facts about Bat Clap…..Bill Gates and Co will not be happy…this is a low level flu out break, that does have a real threat to some people in their 80.’s.

Yep, the semis would be nice to have except for that. If self defense you’d need two case a jam and have to practice Un-jamming till proficient even with the Ak.
With that one intruder if his gun didn’t jam too you wouldn’t have time. Being a woman depending on the man even more important not having a gun that jams in a situation like that. In that situation with both guns jammed he might of not ran off.

As I think about it this is not surprising.

Covid-19 infection rate may be 440% higher among children who received FLU SHOTS… while health “authorities” madly push more shots for the coming flu season

(Natural News) A new study published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases finds that children who received inactivated influenza vaccines were 440% more likely (relative risk: 4.40; 95% confidence interval: 1.31-14.8) to acquire infections of respiratory viral pathogens which are not influenza. With the aggressive push for influenza immunizations now under way, the medical establishment may be setting up children to be extremely vulnerable to coronavirus infections.

Chinese picking up more metal for paper

Posted by ipso facto @ 14:09 on July 12, 2020

Canada’s Triple Flag, China’s CMOC agree to streaming deal for Australian mine

Mine financing company Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp said on Sunday it has agreed to pay $550 million upfront as part of a streaming financing deal with China Molybdenum Co Ltd (CMOC) for future production of precious metals at CMOC’s Northparkes mine in Australia.

Streaming transactions are a type of alternative financing in the mining industry where funds are provided upfront to a miner in exchange for the sale of a fixed amount of future production of metals at a discounted price.

The deal, between units of the two companies, gives Triple Flag rights to a majority of gold and silver to be produced at the mine in New South Wales until the Toronto-based company receives 630,000 ounces of gold and 9 million ounces of silver.

I read Hunter Thompson’s book about the Hells Angels. Very entertaining. He was their Pal drinking and partying with them … then one night getting shi* faced in a bar with them he got into a dispute with a real member and a bunch of them kicked his ass, hurt him pretty bad. That was the end of his Angels dalliance.

🙂

PS Yeah I think the Haight is mainly just a tourist attraction now. Lots different than the old days.

ipso,

Posted by treefrog @ 12:53 on July 12, 2020

that’s about right.  i was in the haight the summer of 67.  it was a magical place then.  i came back the next year (but not to the haight.  rents were better out by the airport in san bruno) and was there 68-69.  the magic was fading.  speed, as you say, but other factors as well.

i was back in 1995, and the magic was almost totally gone.  the haight was full of people in a lot of leather and tattoos.  the flower children had gone.  i guess i was included.  in the mid nineties, the haight was a tourist trap where people came to see the weirdos.

hunter thompson wrote a really insightful passage in fear and loathing in las vegas.  it’s near the end.  he writes about a youth wave starting in san francisco in the sixties and moving east.  by the time he wrote, it had crested on the sierras and started to flow back.  thompson was there for it.  he was writing a book on the hells angels (an amazing book).  he introduced the angels to ken kesey’s clan of acid heads.  the book’s titled HELLS ANGELS.  read it if you can find a copy.  thompson left the haight in the late sixties, like a lot of the rest of us.  the path he took from there was different from mine.

“1993” Well you missed the Summer of Love by quite a few years. At least SF was still pretty nice then and not overrun with homeless people, shi* and needles everywhere.

From what I’ve heard the decline of the Haight Ashbury district came about when people started doing a lots of amphetamines. People got paranoid and violent. There went the love. Speed kills as they say.

Cheers

goldi, revolvers

Posted by treefrog @ 10:16 on July 12, 2020

ditto.  i don’t trust an automatic pistol.  i’ve had too many of them jam.  i like the small s&w five shot revolvers.  chambered in .357 mag, it’s enough to stop anything short of a grizzly, and if i can’t do what needs to be done with five, it’s not the gun’s fault.  long guns?  i haven’t had trouble with automatics jamming.  for power and reliability in the dirt and mud, nothing beats an ak-47.   but i guess i’m old fashioned, i still like my 12 ga. tactical pump shotgun and my lever action winchester .357
