Remember Decade Resources DEC.V? We both owned this piece of junk a long time ago. I still own mine but figured it as a lost cause. Now Sprott has bought some and it has new life! It’s Alive! đ

Skeena to Acquire 100% of Eskay Creek
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / July 6, 2020 / Skeena Resources Limited (TSXV:SKE)(OTCQX:SKREF) (“Skeena” or the “Company”) has signed a binding term sheet with Barrick Gold Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Barrick Gold Inc. (“Barrick”), defining the terms pursuant to which Skeena will exercise its option to acquire 100% of the Eskay Creek gold-silver project (“Eskay Creek” or the “Project”) located in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada. In addition, Barrick has agreed to waive its back-in right on Eskay Creek. As a result of this transaction, Barrick will become a significant shareholder in Skeena.
Skeena’s CEO, Walter Coles Jr. commented, “Skeena is honoured to have Barrick as a significant shareholder as we endeavor to revitalize Eskay Creek, the former highest-grade, past-producing gold mine in the world. The recent improvements to infrastructure in the Golden Triangle offer us an opportunity to potentially reopen closed mines and contribute to the economic development of communities in northern Canada. Gaining 100% ownership and operatorship of Eskay Creek is an important milestone in the evolution of our Company. Skeena is well financed with almost C$50 million of cash and we continue to believe there are meaningful opportunities to increase the grade and size of this project with aggressive exploration drilling.”

Big news on copper tonight
Chile’s unions have had enough of Covid-19 and will hit the off switch at the power generation plants that supply some of the biggest mines in the country, and therefore the world. As from July 6th.

When Amtrak took over passenger service,
the railroads dumped their worst old equipment on Amtrak.

suppose kanye takes a few states (unlikely) and gets enough electoral votes that neither donald nor joe have a majority in the electoral college.
the selection of a president immediately falls to the house of representatives. but not to the members of the house. TO THE STATE DELEGATIONS IN THE HOUSE !! EACH STATE GETS ONE VOTE !!
the democ rats have a majority of house members, but there are a lot of small states whose congressional delegation is dominated by republicans…. here’s where the fun begins!
we do indeed live in interesting times.

Tax absorbers don’t matter so much either. Money and prosperity matters the MOST. That agenda would fix everything, and make all the costly “over head” and “poverty” and “racism” not matter. At all. No “pushing and shoving” when everybody is happy like 1945 to 1975. Entry level unskilled labor including blacks, did very well back then.

The results showed that cloth masks and other fabric materials tested in the study had 40-90% instantaneous penetration levels
*****************************************************Â
WA shortage of disposable filtering facepiece respirators can be expected during a pandemic respiratory infection such as influenza A. Some individuals may want to use common fabric materials for respiratory protection because of shortage or affordability reasons. To address the filtration performance of common fabric materials against nano-size particles including viruses, five major categories of fabric materials including sweatshirts, T-shirts, towels, scarves, and cloth masks were tested for polydisperse and monodisperse aerosols (20-1000 nm) at two different face velocities (5.5 and 16.5 cm sâ»Âč) and compared with the penetration levels for N95 respirator filter media. The results showed that cloth masks and other fabric materials tested in the study had 40-90% instantaneous penetration levels against polydisperse NaCl aerosols employed in the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health particulate respirator test protocol at 5.5 cm sâ»Âč. Similarly, varying levels of penetrations (9-98%) were obtained for different size monodisperse NaCl aerosol particles in the 20-1000 nm range. The penetration levels of these fabric materials against both polydisperse and monodisperse aerosols were much higher than the penetrations for the control N95 respirator filter media. At 16.5 cm sâ»Âč face velocity, monodisperse aerosol penetrations slightly increased, while polydisperse aerosol penetrations showed no significant effect except one fabric mask with an increase. Results obtained in the study show that common fabric materials may provide marginal protection against nanoparticles including those in the size ranges of virus-containing particles in exhaled breath.

Chicago erupts in July 4 gunfire — with girl, 7, and boy, 14, among those killed
“We are making progress … but we have to do better,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot says
Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell provides insight into the stark increase in shootings in Chicago, Illinois.
A 7-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were among those fatally shot Saturday night as Chicago erupted in gun violence on Independence Day.
The evening included two attacks that each had eight victims, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The girl, identified by her family as Natalie Wallace, was outside her grandmotherâs home at a Fourth of July party in the city’s Austin neighborhood
around 7 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and three men got out and started shooting indiscriminately, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The girl was shot in her head and pronounced dead after she was rushed to a hospital, police said, according to Chicago’s FOX 32.
A 32-year-old man shot during the same attack was in fair condition, FOX 32 reported.

you have such a way about you, so smart.
That’s OK though, I thought I was really smart too and treated folks like they were stupid or inferior as well.
Then life slapped me upside the head.
Best, I truly hope you don’t have to go through the school of hard knocks I did. It is possible to be both kind and right at the same time.
