There’s a lot of profits which can be taken and many people probably think that the gold price is a spike … but if gold and silver can hang around this area for a week or two then the share prices will go higher to reflect the new range.
I think we’re a long ways from any kind of gold backed debt issued by the US but it’s refreshing to see someone who believes in gold nominated to the Fed committee.
As you say … a lot can be done at a higher gold price.
For that to work the incentive to take the cash instead of GOLD the price will need to be much higher ! The Treasury should not risk its GOLD being takin’ Thats why NIXON closed the GOLD WINDOW ! The Price wasent high enough !
Her idea will help prevent a Bond Market collapse and eliminate the need for higher interest rates …The Fluctuation its ALL in the PRICE of the BOND ,not the rate of interest .Very similar to a ZERO COUPON BOND ..everything is in the price at ZERO interest…The Bond Price will FLOAT ,the interest rate will stay fixed at zero…..the price will reflect inflation ….I traded ZERO COUPON BONDS when rates were high in 1970’s and falling ,VOLKER reversed everything.I bought Zero coupon Bonds at severe discount example ! $ 120 for a Bond that matured in 20 years at full price $1000.00 ..What happened was rates came down from 21% down to 6 % the BOND skyrocketed. I got 1300 for a Bond I bought at 130.00… That process can be reversed ! JUDY SHELTON learned that from VOLKER !!!!
ALL US DEBT can be converted to a ZERO COUPON BOND guaranteed by a GOLD option if the Price is allowed to float then the GOLD will stay PUT in the Treasurys hands where it ought to be..The cost to Treasury on its debt will be ZERO ….The Treasury has found a way to protect itself ,the PUBLIC needs to own GOLD to do likewise since they dont issue debt BONDS ..The PUBLIC NEEDS to own GOLD ..!!(as long as the convertibility remains intact….)..
JUDY SHELTON said the Bond buyer will get back the “FACE” value of the BOND,so investers should not buy the BOND since the price go higher than the FACE value as I did in the example ,they should buy GOLD as long as convertibility feature remains intact.I hope my ZERO BOND experience explains why you need to own GOLD…..

Canadian miner Alamos Gold (TSX: AGI) has decided to go ahead with plans to build La Yaqui Grande gold mine in Mexico, following results from a positive internal economic study.
The announcement comes on the heels of the company’s recent decision to begin phase three expansion at the Island Gold mine in Ontario, Canada, which is expected to boost Alamos’ output by 72%.
Initial production at La Yaqui Grande, located only 7km from the miner’s existing Mulatos operation, is slated for the second half of 2022.

In Rare Compromise, Turkey ‘Pauses’ Gas Exploration Near Greece After EU & US Pressure
The Turkish gas and oil exploration drama in the East Mediterranean which put Greece and Cyprus on a war footing with Turkish forces has taken a surprise turn.
Amid the ratcheting pressure on Ankara over alleged incursions into Greece and Cyprus’ economic zones coming from the European Union and United States, it appears Turkey has backed down for now.
Days ago France’s Emmanuel Macron even invoked the threat of EU sanctions, citing that it’s “not acceptable for the maritime space of a European Union member state to be violated or threatened.” Turkey has frequently been source of rifts among fellow NATO member states.
Is SUPPOSED to be routed by Zip Codes. Some mail is bar-coded with it. Most manual mail has be be ‘keyed in’ by a worker. My local destination zip code has a ‘7’ as the middle of five numbers. The Guam destination is similar with a ‘9’ as the middle number. So I can see how it could be misread by a hurried worker. But it happened twice from two different areas of the midwest where they went astray.

In California most the mail workers are either minorities with limited vocabulary or immigrants now. Who knows, they may see PA “ Philadelphia “ as Pasadena in Calif like a teen might for all we know lol Many of the Mail people of past have retired and heard it’s getting crazier from my youngest mother in law retired couple years ago as a supervisor from the post office.
They should maybe have classes on it including for Europe.
The postal address are unfamiliar.
I ordered a coin from France years ago before the Euro exchange rate and they had to mail it twice as it was returned to them. If I remember rightly they left out California and just put United States or America or something on it the first time.
