I was thinking of PUBLIX Supermarkets ,a employee owned business with plenty of cash and want to know about their banking process ,are they safer than Banks ? Can anyone join ? They are big enough to afford protection and wont run out of CASH selling groceries ..Any one here a Member ?

I was there during this time 1960’s in Elizabeth NJ (second largest CUBAN community in America after Miami where many of them settled ,many came to work for me and were great employees .They came with nothing ,some without relatives and needed a job ,any job ..they didnt want welfare ,just a job .It worked out GOOD for both of us….WE got the benefit of the best Cuba had because the Communists killed anybody with an education teachers included ,I know I had some work for me. The Communists didnt want educated people,they wanted those they could control and OBEY….They are liars and deceitful to get Power ,then they kill the rest who dont obey ..I knew those who went through that first hand.. They separate you from your family first so you cant organize against them .Masters of Deceit…After I came to Virginia I started to scuba dive where I met some Cubans ,one was an Oil company Engineer who left everything he had behind .He converted everything to jewelry $250,000 and buried it in CUBA
where it stays today..maybe….His daughter became a DR here and both became SCUBA Divers under DR Eastman’s training.She was giving her Father a Vacation and Scuba lessons when I met them..The intelligent ones left any way they could…they were the first to be killed

Cuban-American businessman Máximo Álvarez, who came to the U.S. alone as a child under Operation Peter Pan, warned the audience at the Republican National Convention (RNC) Monday that the promises and mob violence characterizing the modern left remind him of the nation he fled.
“I’m speaking to you today because I’ve seen people like this before. I’ve seen movements like this before. I’ve seen ideas like this before and I’m here to tell you, we cannot let them take over our country,” Álvarez asserted, referring both to Democrat Party presidential nominee Joe Biden and to the socialist faction of the party that largely supported rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
The businessman – founder of Sunshine Gasoline Distributors in Florida – specifically cited the “defund the police” movement and calls for universal health care and other socialist policies as “echoes” of the vows Fidel Castro made before seizing power in Cuba.
“Those false promises — spread the wealth, defund the police, trust a socialist state more than your family and your community — they don’t sound radical to my ears. They sound familiar,” he continued. “When Fidel Castro was asked if he was a communist, he said he was a Roman Catholic. He knew he had to hide the truth. But the country I was born in is gone, totally destroyed.”
“When I watch the news in Seattle and Chicago and Portland, when I see history being rewritten, when I hear the promises—I hear echoes of a former life I never wanted to hear again. I see shadows I thought I had outrun,” Álvarez continued. “I heard the promises of Fidel Castro. And I can never forget all those who grew up around me, who looked like me, who suffered and starved and died because they believed those empty promises. They swallowed the communist poison pill.”
Álvarez was one of over 14,000 children whose parents sent them to America alone under “Operation Peter Pan,” in which America agreed to take the children in cases where the communist regime would not allow families to escape together. While many families later reunited after sending their children to freedom first, thousands of other children never saw their parents again.
“I know all about the past — I’ll never forget my own. My family has fled totalitarianism and communism. And more than once. First, my dad from Spain, then from Cuba,” Álvarez relayed. “But my family is done running away. By the grace of God, I have lived the American dream — the greatest blessing I’ve ever had. My dad, who only had a sixth-grade education told me, ‘don’t lose this place. You’ll never be as lucky as me.’”
“I’m speaking to you today because my family is done abandoning what we rightfully earned. There is no place to hide,” he insisted.
The businessman then praised President Donald Trump for his work in combatting leftist ideals.
“I’m speaking to you today because President Trump may not always be politically correct … our president is just another family man,” Álvarez warned. “President Trump is fighting the forces of anarchy and communism. And I know he will continue to do just that. And what about his opponent? I have no doubt they will hand the country over to those dangerous forces.”
“I choose President Trump because I choose America. I choose freedom,” he concluded.

Same bank game here in UK, the banks have clsed loads of their offices, some are only opening short hours, they are all making a huge push for online only banking and no cash…it’s clear as hell they are useing Bat Clap to make it all digital.
Same with brokers…try and get hold of anyone in any of these Co’s they are all at home, only working by email…u can’t get anything done at all, inside months.

Ororeef – I had a very negative experience with BofA over a decade ago…
Tried to make an overnight deposit overnight at an ATM , but half way through the transaction discovered there were no deposit slips in the machine . Couldn’t cancel the transaction . Went to the drivethrough ATM , which did have deposit slips . Returned to the first ATM . Made the deposit a second time . Knew it would be a problem . Returned as soon as the lobby was open , and spoke to a ‘manager’ who went online and ‘fixed’ the error . My check cleared , but I had been locked out of the account as having attempted a fraudulent deposit . Had a hell of a time getting my money back (thousands !) .

I believe their poor customer support is now catching up to that banking corp. , and that they are in serious trouble . You are lucky to have transferred most of your funds to another bank ahead of what could turn into a real problem .

Bank America denied me access to my account this week ,I went to the nearest Branch and it was closed….empty…So I found another.
They said I had to change my password to one they issued to me …and I had to use my cell phone to access my account.WHAT !.I been there for thirty years ..the password was working fine.They said it was for my protection that they make this change .I spent 2hours in their office and they failed to get me back on line telling me to try again after 24 hours. I went back the next day AFTER I wrote myself a check removing 99% of the cash from the account .They had a black guy there now and he was their computer guru.I told him I wanted to access my account from any computer I had and I wanted to choose my password.After two hours of discussion He consented to get me back on line following a procedure whereby they would sent me a text to my cell phone with a new password that would get me back on line where I could re access my account with my password of my choosing .I noticed that every time I had let my cash balance build up that at a certain point they found a way to deny access to my cash ….I wasent having them dictate to me a change in password that left them in control of it. They were doing it for MY PROTECTION .Meanwhile I tried to reset the password ,they insisted to mail a password to my cell phone which was only good for ten minutes before it stopped working.I change it 5 time and couldent get it done in time..Then they said I couldent use any of the passwords I previously used ..I was running out of passwords until I finally raise some hell with them.I wasent going to use their password or give them what they wanted to restrict my access to my cell phone only ..They apparently monitored my cash balance and when it reached a certain point tried to DENY me access to it. This happened before ,now im on to them…I got it fixed after I removed the cash by writting myself a check and deposited it to another Bank….SCUm bags ..Make sure you have a debt or credit card ,check writting on every account to insure ACCESS to yiur money…. DIGITAL only gives them control of YOUR MONEY and when you can access it..STOP IT..BY the way all banks in my area have closed their LOBBYS ,so you cant talk to any one to fix a problem .Keep your access open !
