Google claims to have simulated chemistry using a quantum computer for 1st time in human history

Researchers at Google claim to have run the first-ever simulation of a chemical reaction using quantum technology, in a move which may mark a new era in our understanding of the universe around us.
The Google AI Quantum team used their 54-qubit quantum processor, Sycamore, to simulate changes in the configuration of the admittedly rather basic molecule called diazene, which consists of two nitrogen atoms and two hydrogen atoms.

Sycamore, like all quantum computers, uses logical units called qubits which exist in the hazy, ‘either/or’ realm of theoretical physics, which allows quantum computers to carry out unfathomably complex calculations of a type and on a scale that traditional computers cannot handle – essentially performing the erstwhile impossible.

The research was published in the journal Science and may mark the humble beginnings of an entirely new approach to chemistry.

Barrick to fight PNG’s attempt to grant Porgera lease to state-backed miner

Canada’s Barrick Gold (TSX: ABX) (NYSE: GOLD) said it would challenge the Papua New Guinea (PNG) government alleged move to grant a 20-year lease for the Porgera gold mine to a state-backed firm.

The world’s second-largest gold producer and its Chinese partner, Zijin Mining, are embroiled in a dispute with Prime Minister James Marape, who rejected in April their application for a lease extension.

I’m not going to criticize anyone for not wearing masks or seeing family. You can’t expect people to isolate forever despite the risks. That doesn’t mean not to be cautious as well as continue to wash your hands when touching things in public but best to do that anyways. MARSA for instance is everywhere now and ordinary flu’s and viruses can pop up anytime before you know it.
They want to hold people hostage until they take their vaccine.
They will suggest that those who refuse to take it to remain isolated and can’t go anywhere. Well if the vaccines works what are they worried about? This must be fought tooth and nail under the circumstances as you see what their up to.
We need to demand they ban bio labs plus the horrific treatment to lab animals who suffer unimaginable torture.
This virus is a example why they should be shut down.
There is medication that can prevent this virus to get no worse than having a cold and the fact they aren’t treating people
Knowing what could happen is criminal and only doing it to push their vaccine while giving hospitals the incentive by paying them for each person who’s infected and the sicker they are the more money they get.
Perhaps they should start law suits and see how fast this deadly virus goes away.

Hawaii has ramped up testing to 5,000 per day… for anyone… for free.  Results in 3 days.  Even with ‘appointment’ time slots at remote testing sites, there have been miles-long lines of cars waiting some 2 hours to get their tests, despite ‘appointments’.

The problem now is a shortage of critical care nurses on the islands.  Honolulu is now requesting FEMA assistance to bring in nurses on an emergency basis from the mainland.  Surprisingly, we still have available beds and ventilators.

The news I glean from TV is that persons who test positive are told to self-isolate at home and given instructions, but I have heard nothing about early treatment being given or even ‘advised’ for positive cases.  I get they idea they are told to stay at home and tough-it-out, hoping to get better.  Once they are serious enough to have trouble breathing and have to call an ambulance then they are taken to a hospital.   So the best advice is to learn how to take care of yourself if you suspect an infection.

Yeah, I’m fully stocked with four nebulizers and appropriate dilutions of glutathione (lung antioxidand), peroxide (antiviral), and silver sol.  Also zinc 50mg, Quercetin (ionophore like HCQ), selenium 20 microgram, and lots of Vitamin C.  Also just got some quinine extract… cinchona bark.

The social effects are even more worrying than the virus.  The Big Island director of Civil Defense here is publicly chastising the population for ‘rebellious behavior’ of not wearing masks and large public gatherings where some openly flaunt their rebellion against ‘authority’.   They don’t take it seriously…. until they and their families all get sick.   Serves them right…. Darwin at work.  Even here on the Big Island we now have over 120 active cases being monitored, and that number is growing daily.

If killing you, making you sick, giving you cancer, mutating you’re genes, depopulation isn’t bad enough for people to wake up there’s another reason to normalize and make into law mandatory vaccines.

Question is how is testing in Hawaii and how fast is it? Are they then pre treating it before it gets bad or do they wait till it gets bad enough to be hospitalized.
If all else fails they can give a good antibiotic , anti-inflammatory and a inhaler although breathing treatments would be better. That and they can take zinc C and vita D3.
Your right on family as in some other cultures or even family’s. It just takes one positive person in close quarters to others for longer periods of time than a normal situation like visiting a store.
But you don’t just send them home to get sicker and sicker and no treatment.
That’s what they were doing to these elders in these long term facilities too.
Even some hospitals weren’t doing much for them when they were severe.
They put them on respirators but that only helps them breath is what it’s meant for not meant to be a treatment like medication and you don’t give a anti inflammatory like prednisone alone with the potential of opportunistic infections as it lowers the immune system also helping the virus to multiply.

There is zero stability, with any commodity prices, when they are being price manipulated on the futures market, until the distortion causes a big sudden up or down move. Oil? We saw up to $145 causing down to $28. Dollar? Wesaw 120 go down to 72 with $145 oil.

Population density has everything to do with it!  I see that here in the islands.  Oahu island with urban Honolulu has about a million people closely packed…. and we are on the second lockdown there now as cases exploded to the capacity of the medical facilities.  Neighbor islands where there are fewer people and more spread out have less than 5% of the cases that Honolulu has.  Crowds spread disease… it’s that simple.

I am extremely thankful that I live out in the jungle and don’t socialize.  I spend a fair amount of time also staying with 89 year old Papa and keeping him safe.   But the Hawaii population is very ‘social’ and loves to party in large family groups.  And that is their infectious downfall.

As they do more inaccurate tests they will get more cases.
