Your probably in better shape than a lot of younger people these days. lol
Exercise and weight bearing exercise is good to keep your cholesterol down and muscles and bones in shape as we get older muscle can turn to fat.
I complemented a neighbor over her patriotic flag like blouse that looked good on her last week. She tried to tell me where she got them and said I could wear the short sleeve ones because my arms aren’t flabby. Lol It’s hard to tell them how to prevent that although I don’t exercise but work but should, for fear of them taking it the wrong way. They could turn around and think you think they don’t look good or something when your just thinking about help and staying in shape as long as you can. The longer you wait the longer it takes to reverse it but once’s muscle is gone it’s gone. All you can do by then is expand what you have.
It depends on individual health though.
I got on PT for instance once for taking a patient with severe emphysema to exercise and said you better take a portable oxygen. The know it all said he don’t need it we’ll be right back. They were right back alright with the patient in respiratory distress and I had to run in and set up his oxygen. Patients need to know when to put their foot down sometimes when they know there body better than someone else.
