Loading ...I forgot to mention that Capt Slate the Diver from Florida Keys was instrumental in getting the Keys declared a national Park,preventing commercial fishers from fishing there for about two miles away from the Coral Reefs (96 miles long).My friend Dr Eastman and I helped him raise money in a small way to get that legislation passed . He visited my business and I in Richmond during the Fund Raiser.I also met Mel Fisher in Key West when he was Fund Raising to fight off the State of Florida case where they claimed the Whole Treasure of The Treasure ship ATOCHA with 400 millions of GOLD & SILVER that he found with SILVER bars stacked up like CORD WOOD 90 lbs each .Funny the silver were loaded with fishing lures snagged by fishermen not knowing their lure was leading them to a Treasure. I was hoping to dive with him,but business needed me back in Richmond at that time..I never got to search for the Treasure ..
Now I search at the Oasis !.. BTW both cases were won against the State of Florida .
