Aeronautical Mobile Ham

Talked to a Air Force KC-135 tanker pilot about 900 miles west of me at 34,000 ft…. headed for Okinawa…  on 20 meters SSB this afternoon.  He was talking as far back as Texas on the shortwave band.  Lookup KN6IPA.
