If it hits.72 again I would expect gold to be much higher as you suggest. Hopefully in the $3K range.

Think about it. Gold was $215/0z. Look at the falling interest rates to zero since back then. The central planners are in constant reaction mode rather than proactive mode the way I see it. During 2008 the USD Index was on 72 and Gold was around $800/oz. Today the Idiot/Dollar Index is a lot higher mathematically at 94, but Gold is a lot higher too, at $1,872/oz.

Think about a 72 Dollar again, these days? Gold would probably be $4,000/oz today. Its taking a big high 94 US Dollar Index to hold Gold down to $1872/oz. The Dollar has had a good three months lately, so Gold is at discount $2050 to $1872. Hey, I’m happy at $1500.

Also, the higher shotgun wedding YuanDalla is promoting the “welfare” buying by the two strongest economies, of cheaper manufactured imports from other poorer countries.

Yep the various central banks are no longer bashing gold and selling it down. They’ve been buyers for a number of years now. Gold will be the last man standing when TSHTF. I don’t know about bitcoin. It’s too vulnerable to government decree.
