They called in the New York Safe Act. Meanwhile todays paper, shootings are off the charts now that no bail laws, and let the foreign born misfits loose, and they don’t even have permits. The guys with permits are not allowed to bring guns into NYC, but the foreign born.
Second and third generation Americans are fine, no problems with them. But these new crowds of low paid people from poor drug industry countries, seem to be the problem.
If they would just raise the minimum wage to $40/hr, for those immigrants, they could get married, have children and hobbies, go places and do things, be busy, be happy, no time or need to deal with drugs and need guns to protect themselves from their peers.
Why does progress take so long? Where are the “progressives”? We could have had “right on red” in the 1960s. We could have had highway cops in big high 4X4 SUVs in the 1970s instead of so recently.
I’m at the deli at the supermarket, getting a half pound ham, the guy is walking back and forth, from the slicer to the scale we can both see. So I tell him, “Some day, they will put a little scale on the slicer platform” so you don’t have to go back and forth.
