Loading ...I picked up Swiss Family, Dumbo, Aristocats, Peter Pan to keep incase at normal prices before they sold out. Lots of kids including special needs like them like the” Everyone wants to be a cat” jazz song the cats play in Aristocats. I though how cold and sad to take these classics that also taught right from wrong. I told a mom who’s son likes it last week better but more just incase and guessed it was that jazz part and was right due to the Chinese cat. There are multi racial cats in there but they targeted the Chinese as a stereotype.
What really got me is when Warner bothers went after Pepe Le Pew. Remember that funny woman loving chasing but harmless skunk? I got a kick out of him and his potential cat girlfriend annoyed by him and was pretty fluent in French then. I decided oh no you don’t so had to bargain and what a bargain at those scalping prices with tax about 130 for a DVD with 17 classics now going up in the 200s.
