Loading ...McEwen Mining (TSX: MUX) (NYSE: MUX) said on Monday it has resumed operations at its El Gallo project in Mexico following negotiations with members of nearby communities, which forced the company to halt operations earlier this month after illegally blocking the mine’s main access.
The Canadian miner said it had inked a new 10-year agreement with locals, which provides “additional support to the communities and greater long-term certainty for the El Gallo operation.”
