Re Best Performing Gold Stocks Since The Correction Started Last August

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:44 on March 31, 2021

Just so you know, FYI, if you think the correction is over, and if we wanted to “buy the dip” I would buy more of my AG and CDE. Gold itself since the August peak of $2050 dropped 17%: $2050 to $1686, (-$364)

Including others I see here on my Schwab software PERCENTAGE WISE % gap grew versus Gold’s 17% decline. All other miners declined the same, 17% or more than Gold. Logic would suggest if these did great in a decline, they should do even better in a new up leg. And the dogs we were sitting on? Sell the next rally? Who knows? Maybe they’ll be the next good ones?

AG, CDE, HL, EXK, NFGFF, and SBSW (but its in Africa)

I just did all the homework for you guys. I report, you decide.

More Good Reversal During Trump IMPORTS FROM BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, ICELAND AND KAZAKHSTAN TO DUTIES OF UP TO 160%

Marco Levi, Chief Executive Officer of GSM’s parent, Ferroglobe commented, “Certain foreign producers have been dumping unfairly traded goods, harming U.S. businesses and workers for far too long.” Marco Levi added, “We thank the ITC for its work on this case and its commitment to fair competition. Today’s decision will bring a much-needed and long-overdue level playing field to the silicon metal market at a critical time.”

On June 30, 2020, GSM and MS filed petitions to stop silicon metal producers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Malaysia and Kazakhstan from selling dumped and unfairly subsidized silicon metal imports into the United States, setting four cases in motion.

Note: $4/sh was $25. USA metals and other production coming back, too bad we all won’t be here to see it. A lot of these uptrends started up in Nov, so some people in gov’t, must have known early on.

Yes I remember the Greenspan Game. I also remember the Paul Volker game during the1970s. The public record called those  years “the inflationary 1970s” which is what it LOOKED like. (inflation meaning increase in money supply)

But thru the 1970s the 7 foot jerk, Dracula in charge of the blood bank, he should have been a plumber, all that clown did was SUCKING money out with higher and higher rates, 6% to 21% prime rate, forcing money into the “dead letter office” where it builds interest and doesn’t get spent.

Bottom like, the climbing prices on the 1970s was a LAGGING result of the inflationary era 1934 to 1971 increasing money supply, low rates, for WW II Korea, Vietnam, and the Moon Landing. The spigot was cut off in 1971, because we lost so much gold with balance of trade deficit. No problem, after ’71 we lost our industries and the cars made after 1970 gradually got worse, too complicated expensive electronic parts, I hear now you don’t even get an ignition key?

You get a bulbus fob? And a starter button? Don’t ever leave the car running, go into a 7-11, and drive away after leaving the fob on the counter. That happened here. Lady drove 200 some miles away on Thanksgiving. If she shut the motor for gas she would have been stranded. The store guy had to drive it up to give it to her.

US Evacuates All ‘Non-Emergency’ Embassy Staff & Families From Myanmar As Death Toll Hits 500

On Tuesday evening the US State Department issued an advisory for all non-emergency government employees and their family members to evacuate Myanmar. It comes after last month closer to the start of the coup crisis which began with the military seizing control on Feb.1 and junta crackdown against protests the State Dept. made departure “optional”.

“The Burmese military has detained and deposed elected government officials,” the department in the written statement, using Washington’s preferred old naming for Myanmar. “Protests and demonstrations against military rule have occurred and are expected to continue.”

“The Department of State made the decision to authorize ordered departure from Burma because the safety and security of US government personnel and their dependents, as well as private US citizens is the Department’s highest priority,” a State Department official further said.

Re Spending….Great analogy , re spending dead person etc.

Fwiw…I have come to the conclusion, that they have taken what Greenspan found out, that u can use the Futures mkts, to move cash values, so that asset prices do what u want them to do, in order to give the appearance, that the mkt agrees with yr policies.

Greenspan did it a lot, especially after he spoke, which is how he got the reputation as a Mkt God…the mkts didn’t move because of what he said, they moved because they were forced to react that way, by trading Futures.

They have gone one or two stages further, they now react/influence 24/7, hence we see the mkts constantly ‘reconfirming’ policy, no matter how mad the policy is……the one weak link could be long term rates…..but even they are not as free as they were, hence the absence of Bond Vigilantes….. Check the German stock mkt…record Hi’s despite the collapse of Chinese demand and a country politically at war, with the Greens waiting to takover/ have massive influence…then look at France…way worse than Germany, yet it’s mkt is at record Hi’s as well….no way is any of that ‘natural’
