Canada’s B2Gold (TSX: BTO)(NYSE: BTG) has commissioned an off-grid solar battery hybrid system at its Fekola gold mine in Mali, said to be the world’s largest in the mining industry.
Construction of the plant was approved in 2019, following the completion of a preliminary study earlier done by Germany-based solar project consultancy Suntrace and its partner BayWa.
