Nonetheless, I am extremely proud of my kids. All of them graduated from college, something that no one in my family has ever done.

I’ll start looking for property in Kentucky so I can spend some time with my son before it gets too late. 🙂

I my first wife was a nurse, went on to Phd in vaccinology (good timing), professor in nursing at the local University and lives 4 houses down from me (all good now…… 🙂 )  love of my life now is also a BSc Nurse works in the office with me …….

She did a 4 year world tour with “Disney On Ice”  Figure skating before coming back to Canada …….  I love the nurses,  with the utmost respect and I mean that ……. (esp Goldi).

I have two children, one in heading for a Masters in Public Health Policy and Economics and Weill Cornell NYC ……. that will cost her / us 🙂

My son bailed from  a PhD Economics and is now in Law School,  better suited for him Im sure.

I worry of course about the debt our children will inherit

Its nothing for a medical student now to be $2-300,000 in debt coming out, if not more

In Canada …….  Im at $40 dollar a visit,  sorry …….  it doesn’t pay the bills and no danger pay or much respect Im afraid

Granted that cop was either a special kind of stupid or criminal that likely race had nothing to with but there is no SYSTEMIC racism there is only systemic crime in black predominant areas.

There is no disproportionate shooting or discrimination there is disproportionate crime in these areas where the minority is creating the majority of crimes.

My son was #1 in his High school ,but got NO recognition at Graduation ..Highest Grade Point Average in Schools history .He was # 1 at University of Virginia as a Physics Major . He and 4 Asian PHYSICS S STUDENTS were top 5 students at UVA .28,000 Students ..It was said the Physics students were in a class by themselves ..(BASICALLY MATH )Worked his way through Masters degree College teaching at Univ Maryland and worked at NASA at the same time . GOT his PHD in applied Physics at UnivCal ,San Diego .Went into business with a Chinese partner developing devices for Military.  I say all this because they want to stop teaching MATHEMETICS  in Schools …?  (MAYBE ..They should teach Basketball instead !)

Agree, the attacks on Asians is horrible. Outside of Chinese spies, the Asian peoples bring a lot to this country. They have a tremendous work ethic, their kids study harder than anyone, which is why they are discriminated against at institutions like Harvard, because if they were allowed in based on their abilities, they’d takeover the school from the entrenched white people.

Yeah, it’s the saddest thing to me. My daughter is smart, BS in Nursing, wonderful family and kids – my grandkids of course.

My son just graduated from Med School at the Univ. of Washington, now will be doing his triple board residency at the U of Kentucky. There were only 23 triple board positions available in the country.

Unfortunately, I think in a lot of ways they’ve bought into this systemic racism narrative and that guys like Biden will fix it. Doesn’t seem that they can see how much the Demonrats are further dividing the country and that is their intent.

I’m not going to be around much longer, but I fear for them and their kids future. Sad.
