I my first wife was a nurse, went on to Phd in vaccinology (good timing), professor in nursing at the local University and lives 4 houses down from me (all good now…… 🙂 )  love of my life now is also a BSc Nurse works in the office with me …….
She did a 4 year world tour with “Disney On Ice” Â Figure skating before coming back to Canada ……. Â I love the nurses, Â with the utmost respect and I mean that ……. (esp Goldi).
I have two children, one in heading for a Masters in Public Health Policy and Economics and Weill Cornell NYC ……. that will cost her / us 🙂
My son bailed from  a PhD Economics and is now in Law School,  better suited for him Im sure.
I worry of course about the debt our children will inherit
Luckily neither of them have any education debt …….. so far
Its nothing for a medical student now to be $2-300,000 in debt coming out, if not more
In Canada ……. Â Im at $40 dollar a visit, Â sorry ……. Â it doesn’t pay the bills and no danger pay or much respect Im afraid
Thankfully one of my best friends, an ER doc …… he and I get out in the woods hiking and onto the beaches and rant a bit to decompress
Some inheritance Phyzz might save my children one day ……. at least I hope so ……. Â otherwise the markets are as rigged and bubbly as Ive even seen
