copper miners – take a look at trilogy metals (tmq). development stage, alaska, road access being built (maybe). production in a couple years. (maybe) in a couple years, the developing copper shortage may have that market screaming hot. (maybe)
At least the DA’s are in opposition to this lunacy! Why does the Dept. of Corrections think they have this power?

That’s quite an oddity that the riggers couldn’t close gold under $1900? Maybe they’re in retreat?
Have a great weekend everyone!
Au above $1900
after a classic hit on the numbers……there’s real buying around folks…it can only be a matter of time before Ag blasts thru $28, then $30
Have a great weekend all……
@Maddog
Thanks for the info. I’m not surprised. Decades of accumulation of errors. Many bad decades of bad decisions led to this mess. Global integration of manufacturing and financial systems, globalization in general, was a very big mistake.
Basically, socialism on a global scale, and it took a long time to prove it was a mistake and is failing. John Lenin and Yoko Ono called it back in 1969, with the song Imagine.
Mr.Copper
Re yr mate who is seeing supply shortages….I was told by a guy who owns a stove shop and who trades all over Europe, @ Feb time, that due to covid and over here other problems with the EU imports/exports, to expect to see severe shortages developing of everything, come June and on…..people have been running down stocks and he said once those stocks go lead times are going out to over 3 months or more….
and to expect prices to explode…looks like he was dead on.
ipso facto @ 13:40 re Copper
I’m not on any Copper miners right now. I’ve been doing really great on this latest rally that started at the March lows, just with AU and AG miners. As my positions go up I keep adding shares I just bought 1000 more SAND royalty a long term holding. Doing good with HL and AG, got some GATO.
I bought back the DRD, I might buy back the SBSW if PGMs lift off, may buy back some Steel mines, I’m looking at AMR keeps catching my attention, my AGI doing good, no complaints here. Very satisfied. But if things start sliding? I click away, on recent short term no more Mr. Niceguy.
I’m on record for full time trading, I don’t worry about wash sale things on the trading accounts, and most of the funds on tax free Roth accounts. Me and two sons, don’t even get 1099s on them.

Catherine Austin Fitts and Dr. Sherri Tenpenny discuss Corona, side-effects, and what’s coming to those who have taken the shot. Spiritual war discussed as is talking to the nano particles in your body and telling them that they must serve Christ. Quite an interesting and informative discussion. A bit over an hour, so set aside some time.

US Mint Delays Silver Shipments Due To “Global Silver Shortage”
snip
All of which makes us wonder about what GoldMoney’s Alasdair Macleod warns is the potentially imminent end to paper silver markets as the likely consequences of the Bank for International Settlements’ introduction of the net stable funding requirement (NSFR) for bank balance sheets.
If they are introduced as proposed, banks will face significant financing penalties for taking trading positions in derivatives. The problem is particularly important for the London gold market, as described in last week’s article on this subject. Therefore they are likely to withdraw from providing derivative liquidity and associated services. This article delves into the consequences of the NSFR leading to the end of the London forward markets in gold and silver. Replacement demand for physical metal appears bound to rise, and an assessment is therefore made of available gold not tied up in jewellery and industrial uses. An analysis of gold leasing by central banks, leading to double ownership of physical gold, is included. The conclusion is that unless the BIS has an ulterior motive to trigger a chaotic financial reset of some sort, it is a case of regulators not understanding the market consequences of their actions.

Mr.Copper
I hope you made some bucks in this recent run up in copper! Looks like unless we go into a recession or depression demand for copper is going to be strong for years ahead.
@ipso facto re 9:27 DRC bans export of cobalt, copper concentrate
There’s a neighbor up the road that works in a factory that produces stainless steel kitchen equipment. He told me they were having trouble getting sheet metal. Limits.
I’m just sticking to my original thoughts, that the past since 1913 was all manipulated, and failed, in 2008, and all the distortions are in reverse trying to right themselves, basically going from fantasy to reality.
For example, if lumber and steel was too cheap? It over. If labor and materials (and gold and silver) were artificially too cheap, its over. If TPTB were having an easy time controlling things? Its over, in reverse.
I think the idiots in control are trying to resist the invisible hand of capitalism taking control away from them. In other words, the New World Order that started in 1913 is ending. And the whole mess is in transition. Trump imo, was part of a natural organic global regime change. And its not over, just because dumb and dumber got elected.
@Buygold, re Copper, A Very Under Priced Semi-Precious Metal
They say its the only metal after Gold, that has color. I used to hand make things out of sheet metal, and Copper was my favorite metal to work with. I loved Copper. Stainless steel? I hated Stainless Steel, especially the full hard spring temper version.

Nice comeback indeed!!
Especially in the shares. Looks like silver might even poke positive despite a little strength in the USD – that’s been fading since the open. 🙂

VIRGINIA POLICE NAME SUSPECT AFTER MILITARY COUPLE SHOT DEAD OUTSIDE THEIR HOME
“Two distinguished military veterans were gunned down in their front yard,” Fairfax Police Chief Kevin Davis said at a news briefing Wednesday. “[They] served out community for many, many years. And they were shot and killed in cold blood in their own front yard.”
Edward McDaniel Jr. and Brenda McDaniel, 55 and 63 years old, were shot to death outside their home in Springfield Wednesday morning, police said.
Eight felony charges have been filed, according to Fairfax’s major crimes unit commander, Major Ed O’Carroll. The suspects each face two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
He said police received a tip Thursday on the whereabouts of a vehicle connected to the case after a local resident called in. At that time, they said they took an unnamed person of interest into custody.
“Thanks to the community, we got our offenders,” O’Carroll said.
He also credited U.S. Marshals for assisting in the arrests.
Both McDaniels were Army physicians, and Edward was an active-duty colonel, O’Carroll said.
Police said there had been a burglary call at the same home earlier in the week and that they believed the incidents were connected, police said.

Chief Davis said Thursday that police were unsure of a concrete motive but believed it had to do with a dispute stemming from the Monday incident. The suspects and a relative of the victims were co-workers, according to investigators.
