If Taiwan is invaded then that’s a real tough question for us. I’m sure most Americans wouldn’t care to get into a nuclear war with China defending it and our conventional forces would have trouble bringing power to bear so far from our shores. I’m not sure what to put on the poll other than try and align with ally’s to collectively have talks with China with the alternative if they don’t listen to place sanctions on China to back off and collectively give Taiwan what they need presently.
Ever since we got into wars it seems that the world now expects us to come running and sacrifice our sons and daughters. People are getting tired of it. They didn’t have family’s to be sacrificed for the world and come home in body bags or missing arms and legs. It doesn’t mean they don’t feel for them but alternatives should be first and if there’s any defending it should be equally collective world wide, not just us.
