Loading ...In reading about the Côté mine , I came across the name of the town – Gogama , and it triggered a memory of my uncle (Big John , who was a hard-rock miner in Kirkland Lake) telling me about a big gold strike at Gogama . That was about 70 years ago , and this is the first time I’ve heard or seen the name since .
