Loading ...That is strange what they’re doing in your city. Why cut down the trees. Next thing they’ll say is the street isn’t wide enough so take down the sidewalk and make it wider. Places here just eliminated sidewalks pretty much in some places for street room except in front of homes. Then kids on bikes or even walking get themselves run over with no bike lane or side walk or bike lane so narrow it’s hardly noticeable. You don’t see kids out much anymore. But then people can’t afford them much anymore.
Most the street work is going to the rich areas here done mostly by Mexican laborers. They can get what they call ghost checks whatever that is.
They took forever to get anything done sometimes doing it wrong then having to redo it. On one HWY road when building a new road they made this temp road so narrow on a curve no less a truck with a heavy load tipped over. These ditch digging jobs was only a tiny bit of jobs needed or wanted at the time that also didn’t include women either.
Yes your right many manufacturing jobs went over seas. That’s why what difference does it make where u buy your car from but not just cars. Even our medicine.
Now it looks like even the Fed wants to weigh in on outsourcing. They’re making a mess out of everything.
