At 645 new cases, Hawaii has the highest daily case count EVER… since the pandemic started. Governor is ‘committed’ to not implementing lockdowns, but the hand wringing continues. Big Island had 130 new cases yesterday with positivity rate now up to 8.6% of those tested. And the unvaxxed shaming continues. Lt.Gov. ‘covid czar’ and ER MD on TV telling us “if you are not vaccinated, you ARE going to catch the Delta variant, and you ARE going to wind up in the hospital”. Blatant fear mongering from a shameless politician-doctor. Health dept. director says ‘this is threatening our return-to-normal’… well DUHH! Things will NEVER be ‘normal’ like before. And the tourists continue to flood in by the thousands daily. As I predicted long ago, this second wave will be much worse than the first wave in our little island petri dish. At some point I think the state will be forced to shut down again, and somehow shut down the incoming tourist hordes.

I stopped by my friends welding shop today. He was working alone, his welder employee was gone. Turns out he went for the vaccine, Johnson and Johnson if I remember right. He said the guy felt crappy, weak and tired all week and then got a stroke. Hes now useless.

My AG CDE HL GSV are up a little some others are down a little. NFGFF SA EXK MAG and some unknowns are up like TORXF NSRPF ITRG PPTA JAGGF. Copper’s FCX, SCCO, GATO is up. My worst one is AGI down 5% but it was up 5% yesterday.

The price actions are definitely strange. Just noticed TGB up 9% Huh?

USD flat but rates up. I guess that matters to pm’s but only when rates are up.

So tomorrow the jobs report comes out which will no doubt be better than expected and give traders the chance to crush pm’s.

There is some study on how Ivermectin works but don’t know enough about it yet due to time it takes looking for it.
How it works basically is it arms the cells to reject it so the virus can’t replicate and along with the immune system dies. It’s like having a force field so to speak to ward off the threat.
Feeding the body good nutrition and or supplements helps fuel the body to produce what it needs.

I know someone who went to a resort in Mexico and they had to be tested for the virus negative three days before leaving and then again coming back. Even though the test isn’t reliable.

My youngest made her first Lasagna instead of me or someone else and did a good job too.
I’m watching Hawaii with movie Tora Tora Tora can’t sleep and need R&R. That’s got to be the best movie ever made. Both Japanese historian and American wrote it for accuracy on both sides and both American and Japanese directors. Not ruined or dramatized with some romance gone wrong side story. Sadly pilots died in accidents in those old planes making the movie.

Hawaii continues to circle the coriolis hole. Over 80% of tested cases are the delta variant here, and now there is a ‘Delta-Plus’ variant that they say is even MORE contagious. We have a nursing home cluster in Hilo, and there is community spread. Infection rate is up to 7.8% of those tested here now. Rather than lockdowns, now there are ‘vaccination mandates’ popping up in many private areas. High school sports are requiring vaxx for players and coaches. Hospitals and care homes are pressuring staff to get vaxxed, and there is a LOT of public shaming and blame for the increased numbers placed on “unvaccinated people”. Lots of “public service” ads on TV encouraging people to get vaxxed. Eff ’em! I remain socially isolated… the only sure way to prevent catching the covid. “Don’t share air!”

I have not read… and I don’t believe anyone has done a study on the exact mechanism Ivermectin uses to suppress the covid virus.  But it is a safe bet that it would yield similar results on other corona type viruses such as colds and flu.  It would certainly be worth a try, with minimal risks.
