- GEO-POILTICAl EVENTS usually do not influence the long term trend of the stock mkt. They can in the short run…this weekend has the double whammy of the historic humiliation of America–its military and political class….plus scary headlines over the Delta-virus….I will be surprised if futures open tonite unchanged. or green….thinking more like dow down 400 to a grand starting a week or 2 correction,,,,this is not a bear call on the viability of this historic bull mkt. I picked up some long vol on Friday…on the cheap…
