I saw the anti parasitic with it and wondered just what parasite they’re using Ivermectin or there using it as a prophylactic for Covid.
Monkey pox next!!
I heard that Biden stopping the stay in Mexico which caused a flood of illegals was overturned.
So what’s going on there? Have they closed the borders?
ipso facto 17:08
I caught that somewhere else today. The refugees were actually being treated for parasites, not covid. Some how a few cases of monkey pox turned up in Texas a few weeks back. Nasty stuff. Nice weekend to everyone !
goldielocks @ 16:28
I didn’t see that LOL. It must work differently on refugees!
Ipso Did you see this on your 11:06 post? The one with the tanks I saw one like that before when Obummer was in office.
If Ivermectin is so bad, why does the CDC recommend it for refugees?
@ipso facto re Bad Jobs Report Today, Economists polled by Bloomberg has been looking for gain of 725,000 jobs.
I wonder if they engineered a bad jobs report on purpose by “expecting” the 725,000 number and KNOWING it would not be good at all. Or the “fake” 725,000 number was intended to psychologically spark a growing economy. In other words, over steer? or a push on the gas pedal, as they knew the economy was obviously slowing.?
Parts:
But the American economy slowed abruptly last month, adding 235,000 jobs, a sharp drop from the huge gains recorded earlier in the summer and an indication that the Delta variant of the coronavirus is putting a damper on hiring.
“Delta is a game-changer,” said Diane Swonk, chief economist at Grant Thornton, an accounting firm in Chicago. “It’s not that people are laying off workers in reaction to Delta but people are pulling back on travel and tourism and going out to eat and that has consequences.”

Down here video this lady knows her stuff. I think she was nominated by Trump for the Fed.
Maybe Amazon won’t take over the World
Was buying some CD;s today and collecting a web order, from HMV a large retailer of music, films etc….asked the guy how biz was he said…way better than before the Bat Clap struck….why…because loads of people have been buying off Amazon during the lockdowns and have got sick and tired of wrong deliveries, late deliveries and never getting the goods….so they are coming back to the shops.
The guy there said he has bought loads of stuff himself and loads of it was messed up and even when he got £ 5 back each time, the hassle wasn’t worth it…..and lots of his customers said the same…..
HMV were down and out a wile back….now they are opening 10 new shops in the UK alone.
Mr.Copper @ 12:23
I’m sure looking forward to going the other way!
Today … not too shabby at all.
Picking on the shares a bit
I guess because the SM is down?
Still pretty good so far if we can hold on.
@ ipso facto It Looks Like The June 7th Correction has ended On August 9th
The scum attacked us June 7th, it was a nasty drop bot only two months and now the hard money common sense Gold people are attacking them. The next wave up should be very good. The dumb leaders are losing it.
And a good entry point for the people that missed the boat from the start. The people that got spooked out on the dive are probably kicking themselves and don’t want to buy back at higher prices.
Mr.Copper
“Common sense test”
Love your idea! Many politicians certainly lacking by this measure!
PS The millenials will be even worse off. Many don’t drive or care to learn and all that time spent on the computer means they aren’t tinkering or building stuff. If it doesn’t involve computers they don’t know it.
Not true of all I realize but many.
Out for a bit.
@ ipso facto re book on making things.
In high school I took mechanical drawing and all the metal and woodworking classes I could get. After which my entire life was involved in designing fabricating, and installing many thousands of various things by hand and machine.
And it certainly did help me see and understand things (common sense) that the office workers and pencil pushers did not have. And like Trump said, his father told him to learn from or pay attention to the skilled workers on job sites.
This is why I always thought “they” should put together a group of the highest skilled self employed tradesmen, cabinet makers, tool makers carpenters, machinists, plumbers, sheet metal mechanics, aircraft mechanics, electricians etc. and create a Common Sense Test for any and all government leadership positions, BEFORE they even run for office.
If we had people in government that had common sense, and balls, like Trump did, the USA would NOT have all our manufacturing jobs STUPIDLY exported overseas. We now have a what $24 trillion national debt from importing $24 trillion more than we export.
Plus what is the Dollar value loss of extremely lower living standards after 1975 for young people coming out of high school that can’t buy new cars with 3 years loans or move out and get married and have kids? Another $24 Trillion?
Those young kids today need well off baby boomer parents with high paying jobs or businesses to get them started.
Should bring people into the streets. If the voting system still works they should shit can their government!

The Australian federal government is planning to de-anonymize the internet to introduce a social credit system to combat “online abuse” – police will have access to individuals’ social media accounts, which will be linked to people’s passports.

Robert Greene, in the excellent book Mastery, argues that to master the mind, master the hands:
“Finally, we live in a culture that generally values intellect and reasoning with words. We tend to think of working with the hands, of building something physical, as degraded skills for those who are less intelligent. This is an extremely counterproductive cultural value. The human brain evolved in intimate conjunction with the hand. Many of our earliest survival skills depended on elaborate hand-eye coordination. To this day, a large portion of our brain is devoted to this relationship. When we work with our hands and build something, we learn how to sequence our actions and how to organize our thoughts. In taking anything apart in order to fix it, we learn problem-solving skills that have wider applications. Even if it is only as a side activity, you should find a way to work with your hands, or to learn more about the inner workings of the machines and pieces of technology around you.” #books

Eight people suffocate at Burkina Faso mine after police fire tear gas
Eight people suffocated to death when police in Burkina Faso used tear gas against unauthorised gold miners at Nordgold’s Bissa mine, a prosecutor said on Thursday.
About 40 were on site on Wednesday when the police fired tear gas, which “caused panic and the suffocation of the clandestine gold miners”, national prosecutor Wendyam Lambert Sanfo said in a statement.
Sanfo said charges for involuntary homicide would be brought in the case but did not specify against whom. Four people were also arrested on charges of burning 10 vehicles on the site.

Good news, bad news
Good news is that we got a head start this am and hopefully 250 HUI will hold.
Bad news is that we’d even have to get close to HUI 250 again. Maybe if we’re lucky we won’t have to get too close?

I think if it wasn’t for the rig we Would be at $5000 gold. We’ll get there eventually.
