Check out Apixaban with yr Doctor……I was put on it instead of Warfarin…no need for constant blood monitoring, just annual blood check to monitor Liver and Kidney functions. No side effects that I am aware of. Skin is normal, unlike Warfarin and no bruising etc.
Was speaking to my Doctor on Friday and I said how good it was and he said, it is now the goto drug as a thinner, especially as they can undo it v fast, with other drugs, if they need to. Also takes away all the monitoring that Warfarin has…It was made as a blood thinner it is not a side effect.
