No question that we have a chance with the exception of maybe some of the smaller shares, I don’t know.

Hoping that a rising tide lifts all boats. There is absolutely no reason that pm’s aren’t in rally mode IMHO. The USD should be fading right here, no clue about rates although I don’t see them rising as the Fed might be the buyer of last resort and the Gov’t. needs lower rates big time.

I think you had some front running of tax loss selling going into the September bottom. (market participants move increasingly sooner in increasingly mature markets – our markets are the most mature ever)

So it should be cleaned up soon.

The year 2000 to present comparisons are striking. (some tax loss selling witnessed in November of 2000 but dried up moving into December)

I am still calling for a momentum turn next month even if it starts out slow.

I haven’t read Hamilton’s latest but I would think that miners earnings should be good.

My concern with a lot of the miners going into year end is that they might have some tax loss selling as they haven’t performed all that well.

Yesterday was pretty disappointing, it should have been a breakout.

We’ll see how things shake out.

With only 140k open interest in Comex silver it’s not as bad as it looks on the surface. (silver remains ‘sold out’ with prices 10% off the lows)

Not that things don’t cool off for a bit given the price action on Friday.

This in spite of the obvious manipulation.

Won’t take much to recharge the miners going into November however, with an all important momentum turn higher in PMs possible (likely?).

I think Adam Hamilton has it right regarding PM share earnings.

They are in the buy zone.
