LOL! Sick!
SNG Not sure what’s going on there. You might fix it by putting it in a different format.
Maybe copy it to a text document or something like that and copy it from there …
It messes up a lot of posts you should consider taking it down if you can’t fix it.
GUN SAFETY !!
i stand behind alec baldwin.
@goldilocks
Huh? No I am not left at all. I’m Patriotic isolationist. Like Switzerland?
Sng
You just covered a bunch of posts with that post.
Besides I want to know if Mr Copper is on the left and okay with taxation to this corrupt government taking from the working class producers and giving all their money to the non producer as who sit around thinking of ways to steal it.
Mr Copper
Fast food is no longer cheap except maybe some places of refuge lol, only maybe affordable for a single person.
I went to Wally Mart today to get my youngest grandson and his half twin siblings a Red Rider BB gun for the two boys and a Daisy for the girl fir Christmas. I hope I don’t regret it or his parents if windows break. Tile for them to learn about gun safety and real target practice.
Anyways I went over to look for feta cheese to go with pasta tomatoes and black olives thing and couldn’t find the feta.
Went to the frozen section where in the middle of the floor was those compartments full mostly packaged meats and to my surprise all those frozen sections except the wall area were empty. Completely empty.
I don’t mean this as a start a political debate but are you by any chance a Biden supporter?

I’m rootin for him too!
ipso – Rambus, really? I like it!
he’s been great about calling tops, hoping he’ll be just as good calling bottoms – a little harder because of the manipulators.
I’m pulling for him though!
Goldilocks re Food
I guess I meant fast food and eating out is too cheap making people fat. Lots of good points you made I agree. My wife was just like you re good health organic foods hated eating out and fast foods.
I was married at 20 years old, and two boys by 22 years old. Peg was very smart read tons of health related books and took very good care of me and the boys. I’m still sad from losing her.

“U can make a darn good arguement, that ever since the ’07 bailout, capitalism has been put on hold.”
Yep more like kleptocracy. Lots of favors for the powerful!
Mr Copper
Your not thinking buying for family with kids.
As people gaining weight. Do you know you can be malnourished and be over weight?
Two main reasons. One is no ones home to cook so fast foods with high calories little to no nutrition. It’s been cooked or soaked in preservatives right out. The other is people especially with family’s can’t afford to eat heathy so to make ends meet it’s pizza deals and other fast foods like Mac Donald’s to Taco bell etc to higher starch lower protein like sugary cereals and low vitamins foods. The inner city areas there is multi fast foods on every corner packed at meal times more so since food went up in stores again.
It does help some restaurants. If you can buy a steak dinner cooked the way you like it for the price of buying just the steak at the store on the way home from work which would you choose. But for family’s it more difficult.
Shares picking up steam
I know the metals are weak but I repeat, the shares look pretty damn good…
Until they don’t! ?
Still think
that despite the weakness in the metals, the shares are performing pretty well.
Hopefully that is a good sign going forward?
ipso facto

It shows just how far we are outside normality, when a Commie thug has a better sense of how mkts work.
U can make a darn good arguement, that ever since the ’07 bailout, capitalism has been put on hold.
Re “Tapping the brakes” “Taking away the punch bowl” Remember? These Days? COVID 19 did the same thing
I look at a lot of charts, and you can see in many commodity charts, the Covid “threw a chair” in front of climbing prices. Many have rebounded to prior Covid, so it was only a time delay set back. Also we were past due for a recession and along came scapegoat Covid to the rescue. A germ took the punch bowl away. The Fed and higher rates, the democrats, republicans etc, nobody got the blame for a nasty slowdown. The Covid also screwed up Trumps economy. Quite a lucky bunch.
Maddog @ 9:58
Great concept. I’d love to see these magnates broke and on the dole!
Not likely here but who knows what the future holds …
@goldilocks 2:18 re your..”Don’t know if you noticed but people are looking at inflation in food prices”
All I can say is, don’t know if you noticed all the fat people among us. If food was really expensive, there would be no fat people. Ya know, I never thought food was expensive. When I carry $80 to $120 worth of groceries into the house, its very heavy. Probably 50 to 75 lbs at least. Delivered near by to a store. So in reality food is relatively cheap. I NEVER complained about food prices. Its so unprofitable, I often see a supermarket chain close down or bought out.
If you are noticing higher food prices, maybe they are playing catch up to normal? Shortage of workers? Maybe pay levels too low and have to catch up to normal. Basically the systems values have been distorted and I see everything trying to “right” itself. Even historically low Gold and Silver.
What ever is over priced will go down, what ever is under priced will go up. Even cars are under priced by the pound. Figure a new $50,000 car at 4000 lbs is $12.50/lb. Like Bores Head roast beef and we eat it. Then you sell the car used for $25,000 you get back $6.25/lb.
Its a man made artificial manipulated and constantly adjusted economy, and prices and values are mostly abnormal. Especially air travel its way too cheap. And all those tools in Harbor Freight, WAY WAY under priced. The system is a big joke. No organic capitalism.
Morning Maddog
They definitely have the boot on the neck of the metals.
Seems like the shares are doing OK still – surprisingly. Not sure if they can hold up all day though.
Adios $1800 and $24. Hopefully not HUI 260.
Wow the scum just hit Platinum for over $40 from 1055 to 1012 !!!!

Beijing Tells Evergrande’s Billionaire Founder To Repay The Insolvent Company’s Debts
Two points…if only we had done this to the Banksters back in 2007, the likes of JPM and GS would not be running around running the world etc and being as it is Beijing saying it, he will be saying yes Sir, anything else I can do…..not hiding behind dodgy lawyers sticking a finger up.

I think Chomsky is a communist … so he’s probably a democrat. Despicable viewpoint!
