All I can say is, don’t know if you noticed all the fat people among us. If food was really expensive, there would be no fat people. Ya know, I never thought food was expensive. When I carry $80 to $120 worth of groceries into the house, its very heavy. Probably 50 to 75 lbs at least. Delivered near by to a store. So in reality food is relatively cheap. I NEVER complained about food prices. Its so unprofitable, I often see a supermarket chain close down or bought out.
If you are noticing higher food prices, maybe they are playing catch up to normal? Shortage of workers? Maybe pay levels too low and have to catch up to normal. Basically the systems values have been distorted and I see everything trying to “right” itself. Even historically low Gold and Silver.
What ever is over priced will go down, what ever is under priced will go up. Even cars are under priced by the pound. Figure a new $50,000 car at 4000 lbs is $12.50/lb. Like Bores Head roast beef and we eat it. Then you sell the car used for $25,000 you get back $6.25/lb.
Its a man made artificial manipulated and constantly adjusted economy, and prices and values are mostly abnormal. Especially air travel its way too cheap. And all those tools in Harbor Freight, WAY WAY under priced. The system is a big joke. No organic capitalism.
