Gold Down 3.4% Off The Recent $1850 High.
Looking at the Gold chart, the “system” does this often, throws chairs and other stumbling blocks in front of good uptrends. Every time it happens the prices just go back up. The system can’t possibly win. Way too many natural stumbling blocks and problems, Covid being the latest, that has caused other related problems.

Silver
Looks like the bloodbath continues. It’s approaching a few areas of minor support but I think it’s too early to buy. The silver market takes no prisoners!
From a good friend in Ontario
For those unfamiliar with Canada , Sarnia is across the St. Clair River from Port Huron , MI , as Windsor is from Detroit . Winnipeg is in Manitoba , Thunder Bay is in Ontario at the head of the Great Lakes (Lakes Superior , Michigan and Huron ). This Freedon Convoy started in British Columbia last weekend and is now about 60 miles long .
VERY encouraging ! The worm has turned in Canada .
BTW- minus 30 Celcius is minus 22 Fahrenheit and Winnipeg is very windy !
quoting:
Please feel free to fwd to whom ever you like! This convoy is amazing. Stephanie and I went to support them yesterday morning at Reece’s Corners ( that’s where the Sarnia group left from). We drove with them to London where they merged with the convoy from Windsor. I think our convoy from Sarnia was about 1 to 1 1/2 miles long. I do not know how long it was with Windsor joining! Every overpass along the way was packed with supporter cheering waving flags signs etc it brought tears to our eyes to see the support! Convoys started arriving in Ottawa today. Farmers in outskirts have got their fields ready as parking lots, people are bring food, offering accommodation hot showers whatever is needed! Amazing to see “fringe” Canadians support and start to speak out against the tyranny of all politicians in our FREE country!
Make Canada great again!!
A letter from a trucker in our convoy in Canada…
Hello everyone. We made it to Thunder Bay today. I have a hard time finding words to express the momentum on this convoy. The convoy is 100kms long and growing all the time. The support people have is overwhelming. Coming into Winnipeg yesterday was pretty emotional the com radios went pretty quiet because no one could find words to express what we felt. There was people packed on the shoulders of the streets. Cars parked and people for miles and miles on the ring road around the city. The horns never stopped honking! On the four lane going out of Winnipeg. We thought it was hammer down time but ended up driving 5 to 20 km/hr for hrs and hrs. People had camp fires going in the ditches, fire works, a sprayer with booms out with big Thank you! Signs on the booms. Crane trucks with the booms up with signs, lights flashing, and flags. The shoulders of the four lane packed with people and cars. Overpasses packed with people. Tons of families little kids all bundled up. Everyone was jumping, dancing, waving signs, flags, and flash lights. All in -30. Seeing how happy kids are, their smiles makes you a little emotional at times. This is how Canada is suppose to be. This morning going into Ontario, the support is amazing. The laneways, cross roads, little towns same things happening. Contantly speeding up and slowing for groups of people. I feel like I am cheating with adaptive cruise ?. When we came to Thunder Bay they had a big area plowed Off. Tents put up, big fires and a insane amount of food. Beef on the bun, spaghetti, sandwiches, coffee, donuts and you name it. They brought pallets of windshield washer fluid for everyone. Very humbling how kind everyone is. This is what freedom feels like. I felt normal for once not alone like the last two years. Thanks for all the support it is much appreciated!! Well I hitting the hay. Cheers. Thanks

HOFDL. Love that! I decided a few months ago, no matter what I was all in and wouldn’t trade. I will only add to positions for the next while, for me, close enough to “the” bottom. as usual, Ive rode out corrections before, since I haven’t had much luck trading them.
Going forward, the only stock I feel like adding to an already sizeable position is BUD.V. Satori had great drill results late last year, and, as you mention, “in a normal market”, it would be on a good run. as usual, patience. dyodd.
Patience, something Im learning I have more of than brains when it comes to PMs.

@ Midnight Gardener – RE: Gaps 18:07 “nature abhors a vacuum.”
Hi MG, thanks for your comments – yep, I feel the same way – in a real market.
However, what gives me pause is that those running this farce they call a free market are not idiots. Evil, yes, but not stupid. They can read charts and, my fear is, will paint the charts to achieve whatever result they want. I worry that they have purposely left a gap open to keep PM chartists from going all in.
My paradigm is that the Money-Created-as-Debt Ponzi scheme has about run its course. All the COVID BS is the cover. The Great Reset and One World Digital Currency is the goal.
Like sunlight is to Dracula, PMs are the Money Creators Achilles Heel. They do not want PMs to be seen as a viable option to their game. Seeing they run the show that makes the road for PM holders a rough one.
Just my ramblings as I HOFDL ?

Interesting speculation. Sounds reasonable, and there is a very definite resemblance to a young Fidel.

And all those iguanas falling from the sky. Poor things. Maybe people can bring them to a heated garage if they have cages.
Those things can bite though and bacteria is extremely painful like your on fire. They can bite through tendons and to the bone very quickly. So not for the average person to handle.
I saw a picture of Castro when young and Trudeau and they looked just alike. Insanity can sometime run from one side of the family members. Only difference is Trudeau is a mommas boy wimp if he was challenged. That’s why he gives in to other powers or dresses up when traveling and won’t stand for Canada.
When are they going to get rid of him?
Speaking of traction
Rates up a smidge, USD down a smidge. If we’re going to make a stand it better be right here.
Goldie – Sunday the Rolex 24 hour will be run at Daytona Speedway under freezing temperatures
Cold tires don’t have much traction , so there is some concern about cars spinning out during hard acceleraion from the pits after tires changes during the race .

That explains it….I just didnt connect the dots ..
The White House has a NEW CAT
I hope he has better luck elimanating the RATS .
Ororeef – and probably the literal son of Fidel Castro
Fidel made multiple trips to Ottawa in Justin’s toddler years .
His mother , Margaret was about 25 years younger than Joseph Phillipe Pierre Yves Elliot Trudeau , the 15th PM of Canada , and was a notorious tramp – even had a reported fling with Mick Jagger while J-P-P-Y-E Trudeau was in office . Justin’s facial characteristics are a match to Fidel’s when he was Justin’s age .

Trudeau ….The Fidel Castro of Canada
Master of Deceit ..His plan is Castros plan of betrayal !
I’d like to think we have a little support around $1780
but who knows? Once these things start selling off like they are now, pretty tough to find a bottom.
After all these years, this has been one of the most painful and unpredictable selloffs in a long time.
drb2 18:07- gaps
Hi drb2. Here is my thoughts on gaps.
I use the old adage, all gaps get filled. Sooner or later, sometimes months later, when you think, its long forgotten and “the price” will never go back there, wham, the gap gets filled.
When I look at a chart and see some old long forgotten gap, it gives me pause for thought. LOL, long enough to say to myself, this time the price will never go back there, buy buy, buy!
Breakout gaps, continuation gaps, exhaustion gaps, and gaps in general; nature abhors a vacuum.
Good luck!
MG
@ all you technical chartist types – a GAP question for you.
depending on what source you use (weird in itself) there is an open gap (~$1764-1773 Au / ~$21.55-21.96 Ag) around Dec 15th, 2021.
Does this have to get filled? …or are we close enough?
Any thoughts?
Aguila
Glad to see you post. I haven’t been to Belize since December, 2019. Brought back the Covid with me. I refuse to take the jab so I may never get on another airplane.
If The Dopey/Dollar Goes Higher?? Imported Consumer Products Will Get Cheaper, Then Even More Ships Waiting To Unload.
Also if Dopey goes higher, and important commodities get cheaper, production will lag demand, some producers will shut down, then less supply. Then the idiots will be forced to add tariffs on imported lumber and steel etc like little George had to in 2000. Then the other clowns proceeded to lower that Idiot/Dollar down from 120 to 72 to give the USA some relief. Is that what’s coming?
Ridiculous Price Action, But The PMs are still higher than the Covid lows in March 2000.
We were doing great back in June. By the way, my third heating oil delivery coming Saturday. For 300 gallons, $882 in November, $836 in December, and $1,020 coming Saturday. Spot is $2.74, + .57 cents retail $3.31/gallon delivered latest price. Burning 8.8 gallons per day. Usually use, 1200 1300 gallons a year.
Gasoline was .25/gallon and I remember heating oil was even cheaper, before 1970. Under $3/bbl Crude. I feel like I’m putting hi test gas in my oil tank. Oil or diesel used to be a lot cheaper than gasoline.
@Biden Voters:
All you people that voted for Biden should ashamed of yourselves, and be banned from future voting. What did you gain? Satisfaction? What was wrong with those people? Big mistake. They all just didn’t like Trumps personality.
Classic cut off their noses to spite their faces. “To do something (vote) that is meant to harm someone else (Trump) but that also harms the voters who voted for Biden” We were pumping our own Oil energy independence and gasoline was cheaper too.
