Silverngold re your hydraulic ram pump in the nw hills

I never met anyone who has seen or used a hydraulic ram pump before except you.  I have worked on pumps all my life and would love to see one of these in operation.  I have so many questions for you – you mentioned how many surges per minute and I wonder how many feet of head and did your check valves ever fail and you got a good flood.
