I KNEW this was going to back happen when punching a time clock in 1975, and I never went to college. If I knew this way back in the day, why didn’t our leaders know it. Why did they let it happen?
Because the foreign countries like Japan, N. Korea, China, and big corporations Costco, Macy, Home depot, were on the receiving end, by infiltrating our Congress? “Oh globalization held down inflation” here artificially.
Right, held down inflation on domestic profits and domestic wages. Dragging every thing down. Then the Fed was afraid of deflation and striving for 2% inflation.
Now look at what these financial lunatics accomplished.
