Yeah they did and since they employ collectively thousands of people in every state they got bail outs with Covid then Biden used that to strong arm them to mandate so called vaccine. Even the many that got medical or religious exemptions they don’t talk about were still basically fired by putting them on unpaid leave.
My youngest daughter who got a exemption in medical still today has to be tested twice a week.

Then the lines start leaking, the power steering unit starts making noise, you have to add fluid (welfare) or you’ll ruin the unit you have a mess on the ground. Airline tickets are still artificially cheap (for what you get) even after they went higher or doubled. I dare the gov’t to put airline tickets on the futures market. If you own a business, and demand is way too high, the business HAS to raise prices to KILL some of that demand, and STILL make the same profit.
Get rid of the squirrels, and serve the people that have more money. Same with houses or oil. Goes to the highest bidder with the most important need. “The function of price is for the allocation of scarce resources”. Or services in this case.
The proof of price controls (or manipulation) is in our faces with Airline Welfare. Demand is thru the roof and they keep selling too many cheap seats. If I owned an airline I’d raise the prices real high, and catch the customers that can’t afford to be delayed or cancelled.
There are plenty of people out there with stupid money and don’t really care what ANYTHING costs. My Airline would make big profits and the Media would call me a price gouger?

The airlines are a disaster. I think they did this to themselves with their vax mandates. Many pilots and other staff quit rather than take it and many more are sick because of it.

Shorts, I wasn’t watching or in the metal shorts but equities many got in and out early I’m guessing others hanging on cuz this isn’t over get.
Yeah I noticed some relief with the PMs but not with materials for manufacturing getting hit and looming recession.
I’m seeing airlines problems are heating up, Prices are double or more than double than when I got in earlier and plus the cancellations and delays still going on they said more people are choosing to drive now but still short of staff for travelers.
They finally got on them though for a bunch of things. Faster refunds for delayed or canceled flights, fines for filling flights with no staff, fined for long delays, shorter delay times to be able to cancel.

Maybe you just unwittingly called the bottom of the correction today that started last June. The interest rates have been dropping on the 10 year Bond 3.35% to 2.88% today. The US dollar is on highs. Gold is the end game and we are betting against banks and gov’ts. And they are losing control.
No doubt the gold shorters covered a lot of contracts on the dip below $1800.

I figured it out. Its the Federal Reserve. They lower rates and people make money, then the raise rates and people lose money. The Fed givith, and the Fed takeith away. LOL. Plus the gov’t policies are involved too. And all those big shot corporations in that video with trillions? Where do they put it all. Under the mattress? Or tech shocks? Do they have their funny money 401k plans that turned into 201k plans?

We know about the etf’s but it’s not the ETFs bringing the whole market down. It’s the political puppets and bringing in the Fed to hike rates that can’t even coordinate with the puppets spending faster than they can hike rates. We have high gas prices with it cause by Biden and it’s not going to do anything for either of that so the Fed will keep hiking while they keep spending and refuse to be accountable for the gas prices. We have a really bad mixture going on right now.
