Loading ...SMR is a nuclear company called NuScale. It is in the business of small modular reactors. The company I just retired from has done some stuff for them and will be the likely site for some sort of final assembly.
These small modular reactors are the future of clean energy, the micro reactors even more so.
I have a small position and it has spiked the last couple of weeks. I like them because Fluor is a majority owner of the company, and they are the ONLY company to have received government funding thus far. There are numerous companies that are trying to get funding but only NuScale actually has it. They are the frontrunner.
I’m looking at this as a hold for the next ten years and just hoping I’m early enough to do well before they even commission the first reactor, which is sometime around 2030.
Hoping to see some upside fireworks when the Crimex opens.
