RIO and BHP bouncing a bit, up a buck each in premarket. I’m thinking they might have bottomed yesterday, at least for a bounce.
NEM was upgraded to a buy a couple of days ago by UBS, hence the very recent strength. Not bad, at least they didn’t reco it at $80. 50% off is apparently their limit.
Ipso – trying to look for a buy point for Snowline, but it might be right here? RSI got back to 50 or so but already looks like the selling might be over.

Nice little rally yesterday, but can we extend it into today?
I kind of think we need a rally that bounces at least another 10% or we might just be stuck here for a while.
USD flat, rates down a couple bips.
The Beige Book yesterday was far more dovish than they let on, and the Fed is yapping for higher interest rates is getting more intense, they are lying. I don’t think they’ll do 75 bps this month, methinks only .50

No question this is politically motivated. The uniparty in D.C. is likely calling on their Wall St. connects to intervene in the commodity markets, in particular oil to bring things down for the election.
I guess maybe the USD will die of exhaustion?
Deer79 – I think you are spot on. Oil is facing an unlimited amount fiat to take it down in the paper markets. What happens when it gets lower than Putin or the Saudi’s want and they refuse to honor the paper price?
Unfortunately, commodities cannot be traded with the USD as the price point, it’s far too corrupted.
