That’s awesome. You, me, Alex and Aufever should have a get together to celebrate! Although celebrating for me might be a little premature as I have no idea what condition my house is in. Tough to get information on the conditions down there.

I’m about 30 miles north of Fort Meyers, where they took the direct hit and only two blocks from the bay and a little further from Manasota Key. We are a heavily treed area so I believe our street is probably impassable until the crews get there and they probably have two miles of road to clear before they even get to me. Talked to my neighbor who stuck it out via text and all he said was “we survived.” He had a lot of trees on his property. We did hear that a couple of blocks south of us there was no major flooding. So we’re hopeful. My roof is 3 weeks old so I hope that held up. I’m hoping I can get there tomorrow afternoon, I don’t know.

The sub 1000 Dow from 1968 to 1982, to stay even with inflation, should be 20,000 today. But it overshot inflation to 36,000. Its $29,000 today which means it has 30% more to fall. And HOPE it doesn’t over shoot on the down side. Reminder, the 2008 crash got it down to 7,000 way below the inflation curve.

Hopefully investors will lose confidence in the whole system and go into Gold and Silver when they cash out in panic mode. Its really the end game we are playing. The “insurance” policy. And when the masses try crowding into our AU AG sand box, prices will explode, and WE will sell to them on the highs. When everybody wants what you have, GIVE it to them.  Faster and harder.

During Irma a huge tree was down at the community entrance , blocking access . We had it cut up and the road open within two hours . Ambulance access is a must in these retirement communities .

Re Derivative blow up

It seems that the Pension funds may have been buying some kind of Gilt based Derivative, that when rates flew up cut the thing in half, which forced people to sell them, which forced others etc and a doom loop developed…or it is due to the rules the regulator has in the way pension funds must hold Gilts…..

Not sure on details…..but assume u have the same crap derivatives ticking away….but not necessarily the same rules etc.

I do not have any details yet…..but if the BoE hadn.t stepped in then half of our pension funds were gonna be wiped out !!!!!!
