Loading ...When I still had the ranch and was clearing land to create new hayfields, one spring day the forestry came to the ranch and said their satellite had detected a “hot spot” where I had burned a brushpile the previous fall. They had the exact location plotted on their map so we walked to that spot but nothing was showing. No smoke or anything so I told them they were wrong. But they insisted we dig into the ground and sure enough, as soon as I started digging, smoke started coming up and the ground was HOT.
That was 30+ years ago and they already had the technology to pinpoint a “hot spot” from their satellite in space….and that was on my very remote ranch in the wilds of BC… so once they have all their satellites in place there will be noplace on earth to run and noplace to hide!
